Who do you root for in the Super-Middleweight Division ?

WTF? MAYBE Kessler, but SOG would never stop him, he's featherfisted and AA has an iron chin.

Bute would probably stop him, though. AA's guard is way too high. He's exposed to body shots.

Yep. The results are what I expected, except for Ward, whose popularity seems really low.

Kessler. Of course me being Danish has alot to do with it. (We don´t have many elite fighters)
Kessler is just a cool guy I think. He´s likeable, doesnt trash talk, treat his fans great. He is just good for the sport.

 

Ward is the man. he gets my vote

 

The SMW division has always been a great division that for its short life has had some great world champs. I wouldnt say I support any particular fighter in the division, but will watch with interest to where the careers of Olympic Gold medallist DeGale will do in the divsion, he is going for te British title soon against P Smith who was in the contender. Also it will be interesting to see where Groves the Commonwealth champ goes in his career also. It seems Groves and DeGale are heading for a clash.
It will also be fun to watch the career of other decent prospects in
Maxim Vlasov & Andrea Di Luisa.
In the top 10 I like watching Bute, Kessler, Froch & Sartison and Steiglitz can also be fun to watch.

 

Froch. He fights everyone in the division. Who else has a resume that includes Pascal, Taylor, dirrell and AA with his only loss being a close decision against Kessler. No other SMW's resume comes close to that IMO.

Bute for me is still untested and I hve no idea how people can rate him number 1 in the division given his level of opposition. Ward has 1 good win and that's pretty much it (Bika was ok nothing great for me). Dirrell has a close loss and a good win, AA has done nothing at the weight, same as Johnson. Kessler looks like he is out of the picture for the time being.

Why would anyone choose Ward as there favourite 168lb'er ? I'm not knocking the guys record,but his fights could never be described as "easy on the eye".
No way would i want to sit through 12 rounds of that if i was paying with my hard earned.At least when Froch was fighting ugly there was some excitement.Watching a guy throw a jab then grab his opponents arm under his elbow and try close range uppercuts and headbuts ???? sorry guys,i don't get it.
