I would give my left bollock to see Pavlik (or anyone for that matter) knock Carl Froch out!

Pavlik vs Kessler is a tough one to call its a 50/50 in my opinion.

I think Calzaghe would beat Pavlik in a tough fight, Calzaghe struggling but doing just enough to win by UD.

    Calzaghe beats Pavlik fo' sho'.

Calzaghe's style's more confusing than a ***** on her periods, only he knows what he's doing.

Pavlik, on the othe hand, is one-track minded.

Methink Calzaghe would be scrambling eggs all evening and Pavlik would fall short of solutions.

My honest asessment, in order from worst beating to closest fight

    Kessler
    Calzaghe
    Hopkins
    Froch
    Johnson
    Dawson

I change my mind about Bute.

Bute for sure...Calzaghe and Kessler are 50/50 fights.

The way pavlik fights there is a number of people who could beat him but on the flip side pavlik could could ko ANYONE IN BOXING.I think he proved alot of doubters wrong when he outworked taylor in the 2nd fight that he can go the distance with an elite fighter,he has been caught flush by lesser boxers than taylor and got up and ko'd them, but what im trying to say is anyone with a bit of power has a (punchers chance)also the only person that i would favour in a fight against pavlik would be Calzaghe(only slightly tho)

It might be a little premature, but in about 4-6 more fights my boy Peter "kid chocolate" quillin will be ready. He has the size speed boxing ability, AND he may just hit even harder, than Pavlik. Pavlik is used to being alot bigger than most of the people he fight, bar JT. Although Kid Chocolate is a big boy himself

Bute would get KTFO. As would Froch. Kessler and Calzaghe would start favourites, although he gives both tough fights. Andrade would be beaten in a very rough, and physical fight. If Mundine can come in prepared, and mentally ready, he has a decent shot, although IMO he will simply get outworked.

Chad Dawson would beat him convincingly as well.

I think Andrade is a good possibility for the reasons you mentioned. He's a good inside fighter. Pavlik is not. Pavlik is just a basic jab-jab, right guy. He likes distance. He throws an occasional left upper cut. But he likes distance. If Andrade can take away Pavlik's power and swarm him, it should be interesting.

I agree about Tarver. Pavlik and Tarver have simliar styles. They throw the jab and follow with the straight left/right. They throw their punches down the pipe. And both pack a punch. Tarver's got type of power that can take Pavlik out if he lands a couple flush. I don't know if Pavlik would be able to take out Tarver though. I would love to watch this fight.

If Pavlik fought Calzaghe . . . Calzaghe would be knocked out. You guys must be crazy if you think Calzaghe is going to try to take on a young knock out artist at Pavlik's level at this point in his career anyways.

Kessler is a harder puncher than KP. People overrated Pavliks power. Lets see if it will carry against the elite at 168. Not to mention Kessler is a better version of KP. Bigger and stronger not to mention.

As for the threat Kessler KOs him and Calzaghe gives him the boxing lesson of his life. If anything i would want to see a Miranda-Pavlik at 168. I would still favor Pavlik though.
Abraham im not so sure on but he definately has a chin and power to bohter Pavlik.

I dont know about you guys but whenever Locket actaully attacked instead of trying to counter punch Pavlik (WHICH WAS INCREDIBLY ******ED!!) and got inside he was landing pretty damn good on him. Had he actaully had some power he would have dropped him.
