Who do you think could beat Pavlik?

Ahh, but Pavlik RESPECTED Taylor's power and that's why he didn't just come forward like he did in the first fight. He was more cautious. He will show no respect for Calzaghe's power. He slaps most of the time anyways. And that's just the truth.

 

And Pavlik has a great chin. He took some of Miranda's haymakers and it took a powerful JT about 8 flush shots to actually KD Pavlik. And Pavlik got right back up and had his legs under him in 30 seconds.

 

Calzaghe, and that's it. I think that's a 50/50 fight. I know I'm going to get hated on for this but I think Pavlik is too rough for Kessler.

 

I respect all of ur views.

1. Pavlik does not have over rated power. (Larry Merchant) I know the man may be old, but he said pavlik is the hardest hitting middleweight ever, and thats going back to the MARVIN days. that is saying something!
2. u cant say Andrade standing toe to toe with pavlik would work in his favor, Thats what pavlik wants to do! His 1-2 his amazing!
3. obviously if u seen the miranda and taylor fights pavlik has a great chin.
4. Pavlik places his punches well, and can hit u multiple times
5. pavlik has good defense, not GREAT, but good.
6. Heart Of a lion, U cant take that away from the guy

the only real flaws i see with pavlik is he takes more punches than he needs to. he can parry quite well but for some reason loves getting hit. maybe it makes him fight better to get rocked a few times, i dont know? what do u think.

I watched kes vs cal earlyer on you-tube. Joe has great footwork, and fast, but he throws to wide, and pavlik would take advantage of that.

kessler is actually fast himself and great power, but he took way too many hits. a good 1-2 would rock him.

I hope kelly vs joe happens in october.

Kessler IS NOT more powerful then Pavlik. Pavlik is one of the hardest hitters in boxing. Kessler took Mundine and Andrade the distance. Pavlik has being knocking everyone out, i don't see how you can say that is over rated. Locket CAN punch, it was the only thing he has going for him. Pavlik was totally unbothered though, and smashed him every time he started opening up. Locket simply had NO ANSWER.

 

1- Mundine has more speed and ring savy then anyone Pavlik has ever fought.

2- Andrade has a better chin and stamina then anyone Pavlik has ever fought.

I said that Froch is a talent - which he is. I also went on to say that he is hardly proven at the top level, and never actually said that he would do the job!

 

If JC v KP does happen and JC beats him, can you imagine the excuses? KP fans would desert him in the same fashion they left Lacy. There would be the same remarks make by his ex fans....things like, 'yeah, I knew he was a bum', 'all power and no skill' , etc. You get my drift?

 

Not nuts because he beat Lockett, Look what he did to miranda, and Taylor. come on dude, The man can straight fight.
