The "public" will recognize what's in the record books. 1 WIn and 1 Draw. (see SRL vs Hagler)

The "public" has moved on and recognizes Canelo as the current PFP fighter based on that 1 Win and 1 Draw and everything that he's accomplished since, which trumps anything GGG has done in the last 2+ years. And unless GGG does something spectacular within the next year or two Canelo will more than likely go down in history as the greater fighter of the two.

Only the most ardent GGG fans, and Canelo haters will continue to whine about the results of those two fights forever. (see SRL vs Hagler)

And your still pretending Canelo won 3 years later. Still gloating. It's no biggie, it is what it is, typical with Canelo fights. He starts out the fight with a 4-5 round lead. Poor Cotto gave Canelo a boxing lesson and Canelo won lopsided on the cards. Never had a chance, neither did Trout or Lara.

Imagine thinking Clenelo won both fights when a massive amount of fans and pundits had him losing both?

Clenelo won only one belt: Nevada buterelo belt. Nothing more in his life.

I personally have them at 1 and 1 and there was plenty of people who scored the second fight for Canelo but you missed point.

The only thing that matters is their fights and in the court of public opinion, Canelo has no definitive wins over GGG. what happened after their fights is irrelevant.

You're kidding yourself. Opinions are like A-holes, you know the saying, and no matter how much whining goes on what really counts is the the opinions of the three OFFICIAL A-holes. That's history now . You can cry about the outcome all you want but in the end it changes nothing.

1 to1 is more acceptable then 0 and 1, even though both are incorrect.

Again, that's just my opinion but in the end it means nothing.

So you must be ok with Bradley's victory over Pacquiao in their first fight.

I wasn't even OK with Pac's "wins" over Marquez but know that any amount of whining would accomplish nothing. You should do the same.

Any gloating is being done as a counter to people trying to argue that you can't have the opinion that Canelo won either match, which is mental. If there were respect towards Canelo for how well he did vs GGG, there wouldn't be any gloating. Respect is earned not given. No one's saying you can't say GGG edged either match, and make that argument. But plenty of GGG fans on here argue that you can't say Canelo won either match, if you do you're stupid, fake, a fanboy etc. Only then I have countered that nonsense by bragging about Canelo winnng, being better than GGG. I wouldn't do that if I wasn't getting trolled about how you can only score the fight for GGG and you can't possibly see either match, especially the first match, any other way.

Well he did start out the first fight with a 4-5 lead, because he deserved to win each of the first 4-5 rounds. However the judges didn't see it that way, they gave GGG 2-3 of those first 5 rounds. But you didn't see me or any canelo fans crying about it. We recognize they were close, have respect for judges and see close rounds differently. Many GGG don't have that same respect for Canelo fans or others who see close rounds differently.

Give me a break. Cotto got schooled. Canelo deserved to win that lopsided on the cards. Cotto barely won any rounds. Never had a chance? Lara was a round away from a draw, 2 rounds away from a win. That's pretty much as close as a scorecard can get. One judge had it 9-3, but he was overruled by the other 2 had it razor close. "But there's always a judge who scores it lopsided for Canelo." Stop crying, that's common in boxing wth judges to see rounds differently and have different margins we see it all the time. When GGG beat Derev, two judges had it wider than the other. Some thought Derev deserved to win. Canelo performed well vs Trout and Lara. We can debate how close it should ahve been but you can't expect judges to score every round identical.
