You said I called the right hook from Canelo at 2:04 a "clean" punch. I didn't call it a clean punch. Just pointed out that it landed top of GGG's head and bounced off it as GGG tried to duck it. Didn't have much on it, but you calling it "literally nothing"? It was certainly "something".
First you say it didn't appear to connect at all, in the same breath, it may have clipped his lips? There was plenty on it, it just missed landing flush, as it only skimmed his face. Still a clean landed punch since it connected with his nose and lips, you can see GGG's spit flying in mid-air as a result of the punch. I value these kind of punches, even if they don't land flush. This was noteworthy because GGG was trying to land a hook of his own at the same time and the left hook from Canelo, caused GGG to miss his left hook wildly. If that inside left hook didn't land, GGG wouldn't of missed his left hook as wildly. When you get hit with a punch while attempting a punch, it changes the trajectory of the punch.
In your previous post, you said that I called Canelo's shot earlier with 2:04 on the clock that bounced off the top of G's head "clean". However, I didn't say that was "clean". And this one from G wasn't clean either, since it hit Canelo in the top / back of his head. But you're calling this one from GGG "very good" despite landing on the top / back of Canelo's head. I'm merely saying if Canelo's previous right hook to the top of GGG's head isn't clean, this isn't clean either since it landed on the top of the head.

That said, I'll throw you a bone and say "GGG's top of the head left hook there at 1:55 was slightly better than Canelo's top of the head shot 9 seconds earlier". Neither was anything that significant since it hit the top of the head. That landed at a very weird angle. It did connect more solidly I'll give you that.

And to be clear, in my view, a punch to the forehead can be considered clean, but a punch to the top of the head really shouldn't be considered clean.
He didn't scrape GGG's left cheek, it landed with power. Forget the frames on this one, just watch it live, it clearly impacts GGG's skull, watch GGG's head as it lands, you can see it definitely landed with power. On some of these other punches it's hard to tell if a shot lands, or if it was impactful. But this one you can see that it landed so for you to claim it didn't or that it hit his shoulder or only scraped the cheek you're not being honest here. You saying this punch did absolutely nothing is bananas. It was a sneaky lead right hand that GGG couldn't avoid. And then Canelo picks off the right hand from GGG that followed while leaning back on the ropes then tying him up. You just don't seem to appreciate the kind of shots that Canelo is getting in and the defense on display. He's a master at fighting off the ropes. GGG doesn't know how to fight off the ropes like this.
It connects to where the first G is in the GGG logo that's on his belt-line. It wasn't low, it wasn't hip, it wasn't to his back. It landed on the front of the belt-line. I don't know if I'd call it clean since it hit him on the belt-line. It's a landed punch that GGG definitely felt as he backed away took a deep breath before steping forward again.
It was eye catching. You say it grazed him, I call it more than a graze. I say it "tagged" him, but that's OK, we're coming at this from different perspectives.
We don't have to agree on everything but you originally claimed this landed, and I'm about 98% sure it didn't. If it did land, it's one of those barely scraping / grazing kind of punches that you called some of Canelo's. Canelo at the very least mostly avoided it if not entirely avoided it.

It's getting to the point where you're just disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing. It's okay to be wrong you know it's only a forum.

2:05 again like I said "Look at Canelo's arm as he's not even throwing the jab. It's not a stiff arm either. If you're scoring anything from that I'd be extremely worried" and at best it touched the lips, which is doubtful. It's not a good landing jab, or anything, it's not even a probing jab and you're reaching into realms of fairytale again.

2:04 - you're original post you said he landed a nice right hook..and again a weird slap that doesn't even look to connect
    This:
"GGG's top of the head left hook there at 1:55 was slightly better than Canelo's top of the head shot 9 seconds earlier"

..is frankly ridiculous. Golovkins punchn actually lands with the fist on the top of head, not the back of head. Makes Canelo do a little wiggle lmao. Again you're creeping into fairytale land. It was far better than that literal nothing slap potentially at the top of the head from Canelo. So a punch to the top of the head isn't clean but constant slapping with the inside glove constantly is..ok good logic.

1:52 your essay on that right hand is just reaching to the max, it's easily observable watching both slow mo and normal speed that right hand nothing in it and does not land clean. At best it looks like it grazes his cheek. You're just plain wrong on that watch it back, you're being insanely biased with this supposed punch.

1:34 it was inside glove..to the hip come on seriously...and you say GGG had to reset himself after this ...yes but look at 1:42, Canelo slaps GGGs glove and GGG goes back to reset himself

The last punch right hand, yeah I claimed it looked like it landed and for good reasons, and it very well could have landed. You're claim that you're 98% sure it didn't land but can't even see the camera angle and then you also claim Canelo landed on body shot when you can't even see it from the camera angle....

He is 38 now. I wish he was 32 and fought Jermall Charlo, Demetrius Andrade or Jaime Mungia next.

If he fights someone in top 5 middle/supermiddle next and loses, will people say "Golovkin was always overrated"? I hope not, because he is 38 now. It would be unfair.

You meant "it's a moot point". But, it's really not, GGG definitely had a habit of trying to quickly return fire and land a punch of his own after being hit with a big punch from Canelo. And in this instance it put him off balance because he loaded up on that punch too quickly and didn't have his feet under him. The fact is that GGG visibly stumbled and lost his balance, and everyone reacted as though GGG was hurt because that's what it looked like in the moment. And whether you want to admit it or not, this was a big moment for Canelo.
The left hand was mostly blocked, it was used to set up the right.
The glove didn't get up in time man, that right hand landed hard before GGG could get the glove up.

To Quina's credit he's actually trying to have a real debate about the round. Even though we disagree on stuff at least he's trying to break down the round.

Like I said off balance does not equal hurt. Golovkin has taken bigger punches from Canelo and not stumbled.

The punch absolutely hit the gloves

Well, biased commentators always appreciate when a side boxer had hit opponent's gloves and present this as something valuable and cool.

I really might appreciate situation if boxer had punched opponent's glove and his hand after this had hit his chin with some effect not only connected.
Like some Huck's or Briedis fights or prime Cunningham fights and some others.

It was a well placed punch. I never claimed it landed clean, since it was top of the head, that was my point.
The reason why I said that it was only slightly better was because they both landed to the top of the head, instead of to the face. They both were well placed shots given the target that was available. But lets not get carried away and act like either of these shots were anything great. GGG landed that left hook at a weird angle, on the top of the head, but sure it made Canelo do "a little wiggle" if that makes you feel better lol. Still a not clean, not great shot since it was at such a weird angle hitting him on top of the head. But it was well placed, as was Canelo's but GGG's did have more impact, as it landed more flush didn't slide off like Canelo's. Hell G's might have been one of the flushest top-of-head shots ever lol. Maybe it's because GGG's head is more round than Canelo's!
Gonna have to disagree with you on this one. It landed hard and flush to the face. It was a great lead right hand. Don't know how you're not seeing this.
I see your on this slapping kick, pretty funny. No need to bring up an instance of Canelo resetting himself. GGG literally backed away and re-set himself after receiving that body shot. You wanna say it was hip, didn't look like hip, looked like it hit the first G in GGG logo on his belt-line. GGG clearly felt that shot and it forced him to back away and reset himself. There's really no need to fight over this one.
You talk about me exaggerating Canelo's punches, well you're doing that here for GGG. There is no indication this punch landed. It's hard to be sure due to the angle, but you originally acted like it for sure landed, which was obviously an overreach.

I agree off balance does not equal hurt, but it was the first time we saw GGG stumble and the entire sequence was a big moment for Canelo to say the least. First the big right hand, then pushing GGG's counter punch aside and seeing GGG stumble. The crowd and commentators reacted to it like it was a big moment that GGG was wobbled and Canelo saw it as an opportunity to keep on him.
GGG's left glove was barely touching Canelo's right glove as the punch landed, GGG's glove didn't get up in time to do anything to reduce the impact of the punch.

I hope GGG finally lands the Murata matchup, its a more meaningfull one at this point.

Munguia or Andrade could be next if Canelo cant be made.

The Charlo options seems a little distant at this point.

2:04..you said was a nice right hook and now a well placed punch..something it was neither, and if you're scoring anything for that then so be it but no competent judge would or should score that. Yeah I said something about you saying it was clean punch but regardless you said it was a nice right hook/well placed punch. You haven't addressed that it was a downward slap hook that doesn't even look to connect. It absolutely does not compare to Golovkin's downward punch to the top of the head that was clearly impactful and landed with the fist properly on the target. Getting hit on the BACK of head, slapping with the inside of the glove is not clean punching.

1:52 the right hand from Canelo absolutely does not land hard and flush, and you don't how I'm seeing this? because I'm actually watching it properly. This is just an incredible exaggeration on your behalf, there is more of evidence this not landing than GGG right hand at the end of the round.

What's so funny about Canelo's slapping? He does it time and time again with the inside glove and you denying is just that - you being in denial. I can demonstrate many of these slaps in this fight let alone all of Canelo's other fights. INSIDE GLOVE SLAPPING IS NOT CLEAN PUNCHING.

I said this "1:34 it was inside glove..to the hip come on seriously...and you say GGG had to reset himself after this ...yes but look at 1:42, Canelo slaps GGGs glove and GGG goes back to reset himself" which means Golovkin did the exact same thing with resetting himself at 1:42 after Canelo threw a left hook slap that didn't land. Golovkin, and other boxers generally MAY reset after a punch is thrown, landed or not.

With the inside slap to the hip, it absolutely was and you can fricking see it just watch in 0.25 speed.

Dude, don't tell me I'm overrexaggerating GOlovkins shots when you're doing that from all these slaps and punches from Canelo that don't land. I said I believe Golovkin's right hand landed at the end for right reasons, but also I accepted that it may not have landed due to the camera angle. At least I'm willing to accept when a punch potentially does not land and accept it (although it's still not clear whether that right hand lands at the end, and either of us saying it does or doesn't is wrong because we can't see because of the angle). Here it seems like your clinging to everything that is insignificant and not landing/clean punching and denying what is actually happening.

Also, responding to your other comment:: GGG was off balance, and commentators , both Roy JOnes, and BT commentators said Golovkin was off balance so the commentators hardly "reacted to it like it was a big moment that GGG was wobbled". You're clingy to conjecture as to whether GGG was hurt.

And again, the right hand Canelo lands clearly hits his glove before slapping his face, hence the glove took the force..watch it in 0.5x and 0.25x and normal speed. You're also exaggerating it like it's a massive clean punch when it wasn't
