Only problem is Canelo never legitimately beat GGG, and has no edge over him head to head what so ever. Canelo would be doing well to have a loss and and a draw. At best that would tell a more accurate story of what really happend. You cant fool the fans. Canelo is a good solid fighter who gave GGG two tough tests is more like it.
Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. Canelo is GGG's superior. GGG was wrecked by Canelo in the rematch, GGG went back to the locker room defeated without giving an interview. How sad. You can try to spin the result any way you want, but the fact is that Canelo won, and it did it fighting in a fan friendly style just how GGG asked for it. The first match was a master class of outboxing, GGG deserved to lose but was gifted a draw after being outboxed. In the rematch we saw Canelo come right at him, take it to the champ just as everyone who said Canelo didn't win the first time because he didn't take it to the Champ needed to see from Canelo to admit he won. Canelo did exactly what you and all the GGGoons asked for, beating GGG up and taking his title. He's never looked back since, leaving GGG in the dust.
just ask yourself who has Canelo went to war with since? Who has fought Big Red and for a 113/115 on the scorecards? No one. Who has lasted 12 rounds in a close fight with Canelo since GGG? The old time warriors went head to head with the best over and over but today boxers are softer. The best competition for Canelo WAS GGG.
No doubt about it, Canelo has not been challenged since fighting GGG to the extent that he was challenged by GGG. That's the point I made, the workrate Canelo had to maintain in the GGG rematch to win, he hasn't had to work that hard in a match since so his stamina is said to have improved since then but part of it is just that he hasn't been pushed by anyone to work that hard. Jacobs was supposed to give him a tough fight but ended up getting schooled. It remains to be seen if Saunders or Plant can push Canelo to the limit like GGG did. But even if Saunders gives Canelo a close fight, I doubt it'll be as grueling or as intense as either GGG fight.
I don’t see anyone stopping or hurting Canelo at from 154 to 168 EVER. BJS, if in shape, can frustrate Big Red for a few rounds. Plant is planing his own retirement by sitting out and staying inactive while Canelo stays active so he’s chances just tanked. Canelo could go on a suicide mission after 168 and jump back to 175 but the reality is HE IS NOT A LHW. GGG will be collecting Social Security before Canelo gives him another look and GGG has slowed way down too son. Peace
Well then two fights were the best showings for both guys. That was a classic match up and it’s sad we are years into the third ever being made. I truly enjoyed both fights and both guys were excellent and exciting
You are in the complete minority when it comes to the first fight. In your world Pernell Whiticker would be lucky to get a draw vs Chavez sr.
Coming from the extreme minority. GGG winning fight #1 is common knowledge. You can go to any job site and ask Hispanics and its always the same. GGG won the first one. You can only make a case for fight 2, and thats only a case.
And when i say common knowledge i mean like green light means go and red light means stop, type of common knowledge.
So what you're saying is that it was so easy to score that Adalaide Byrd was the only judge who saw it as a clear win. What were those 2 other judges who scored it so close thinking, creating all that controversy?
Shadow is trying to make up his quota of words written in Canelo's defence. Wait till he starts talking about sweat-spraying, neck twisting puches
