Sounds like you didn’t watch any of the fights from that era. Nobody in the world believes the Johnson win was better than the Mustafa win.

I hope you got a nice jolt of dopamine off your post in an otherwise humdrum existence.

Those self esteem classes are paying dividends. A little overboard, but good effort, nonetheless.

Tua wasn't close to being in the best possible condition when he fought Lewis, in fact, it can reasonably be said he wasn't in his best shape since his battle with Ibeabuchi back in 1997, he had become a fighter looking for that one big shot, but not working hard to set it up.
Ibeabuchi defeated a better version of Tua than Lewis did.
Rahman was never anything special, his biggest claim to fame was ko'ing Lewis. Other than that? What? The best fighters he faced usually beat him. He was losing to a way above his best fighting weight James Toney before it was called a no contest, he could only get a draw against him in their 1st fight.
The question should be how does Lewis lose to Rahman in the 1st place. What does that say about him? And, that he lost twice in the same fashion to the same level of fighters In Rahman and McCall, that speaks volumes to reasonable fight fans.
I like Lewis, his size alone would make it a dangerous night for any heavyweight in history.
But those 4 wins you rate as top notch are nothing special at all.

Well Lewis "had" to go 24 rounds because the judges were not paying attention. Can't fault him on that.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd pick Sugar Ray Leonard.

Why do people give Lennox Lewis so much credit for the Tyson win ?
