    ****in hell, I was gonna say Jones jnr but after reading that I'll go Hopkins lol..One thing I will say, just to balance it a bit, I have no proof, but Hopkins was a cheat in the ring if it wasn't going his way, pure blag merchant,if he wanted a breather or out the fight he would cry foul, an produce the ugliest manbaby cry face I've ever seen. To think with that man's mental make-up and win by any means to think he never took roids is mental. Bit more proof with Holy, but without the "Evan fields" situation, I wouldve staked my life on him anyway, that will an desire to win, try anything attitude. It's easier, way easier picking which American atg's weren't juiced out of there minds. I can't think of any. Ward would be another one I'd be suspicious about

    Poll added

    I believe at the moment it is 4 to 3 for Hopkins at the moment

    Remember it is LHW resume only, not whole career and not who you think would win or who you think was better. Just the LHW resume

    Thanks

    Is that opinion based on a particular win or based on overall LHW wins?

    Do you feel Pascal was better than some of the fighters Jones beat or do you think it was the timing of the win?

    I base that on his body of work at Light heavyweight before he moved up to heavyweight and beat Ruiz. After that moving back down to LIght Heavyweight was a mistake. He was never again and would be the same fighter who because of his athleticism, speed and instincts was at his best was impossible to beat. Hopkins was a great fighter but not the same type of guy and he knows it as well.

    At 175, Roy Jones fought 26 times against:
    * Virgil Hill
    * Joe Calzaghe
    * Mike McCallum
    * Reggie Johnson
    * Bernard Hopkins
    * Antonio Tarver (three times)
    * Julio Cesar Gonzalez
    * Clinton Woods
    * Glen Johnson
    * Montell Griffin (twice)
    * Felix Trinidad
    * Eric Harding
    * Jeff Lacy
    * Merqui Sosa
    * Glen Kelly
    * Richard Hall
    * Derrick Harmon
    * David Telesco
    * Otis Grant
    * Omar Sheika
    * Anthony Hanshaw
    * Richard Frazier
    * Prince Badi Ajamu

    Bernard Hopkins fought 15 times at Light Heavyweight against:
    * Sergei Liakhovich
    * Joe Calzaghe
    * Antonio Tarver
    * Roy Jones
    * Chad Dawson (twice)
    * Jean Pascal (twice)
    * Tavoris Cloud
    * Kelly Pavlik
    * Ronald Wright
    * Joe Smith Jr.
    * Beibut Shumenov
    * Karo Murat
    * Enrique Ornelas

    At light heavyweight, Roy Jones' record was 20 wins and 6 losses (including the DQ loss to Griffin).

    At light heavyweight, Bernard Hopkins' record was 9 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw, 1 no contest

    Jones has the better resume at the weight.

    Jones has more than twice as many wins against the same level of opponents. And his record could've been 21-5, if not for the punch while Griffin was down on one knee and finished already.
