    we all know Money May is about to cash those big boy checks on May 6th and Bradley is gonna get dog ****. supposedly Cotto is getting a fat chunk for this fight based on his PPV and star power while pacman is getting the usual Arum special in a fight that most likely will do a lil better than Pac Vs. Clottey. who do u think is gonna make more $$ in their next bout? Cotto or Pac?

    THE ONLY documentation we actually have of Pac's purses is the NSAC.

    Revenue is what pays fighters in the end-Miguel is going up against a guy, who owns the business part of the sport as Oscar De La Hoya once did...

    Cotto gonna make slightly more-Cotto does not have to pay a promoter (GBP will get a one time promotional fee only) such as Pac has to pay a promoter.

    *******s, you may not like that Pacquiao is making less on the "A" side to Mayweathers opponent on the "B" side...but thats not important-in the end COTTO WILL TAKE HOME MORE MONEY.

    Who cares? :lol::patsch

    I care about the actual fights and from where I stand Manny Pacquiao is the most entertaining fighter in the game today. When Manny gets in the ring, he fights! He doesn't hold, run, sucker punch etc... Manny is a savage and he loves to get down in the ring! :deal... You Mad?

    why the hell do you keep going on and on about this.

    it's been explained by rafael and arum and has never been disputed by anybody else except by the crazy mayweathers that, what's documented by nsac is only a percentage that has to be paid to fighters (pacquiao) on fight night.

    Mayweather and Pacquiao's NSAC purse discrepancies explained in layman's terms

    ESPN's Dan Rafael explained the matter in layman's terms in a recent chat and wrote:
    "The figures written a Nevada contract are not necessarily the real number for big PPV guys. They get most of their money off PPV generally. So if Manny's "official" purse is $8 million fine.

    something like $20 million or whatever. The money is the money. One of the reasons for the disparity is because Manny is not a US citizen and is often paid a large amount of his money through his Filipino promotional company and deals in the Philippines for things like the television revenue there. So while it looks like a big difference it is not in reality."

    "So folks can keep on drinking the kool aid. But they dont get how the business actually works when it comes to fighters from overseas. I once covered a world title fight in Vegas with a champion from South Africa in say about 2002. His Nevada contract for a world title fight said his official purse was like $1,000. But he was making more like $50,000 because of the TV money from South Africa. You can do anything with numbers. What is written on the Nevada paper for big time fights isn't worth the paper it is written on," Rafael would put things in perspectve.

    Arum also clarified the situation with regard to Pacquiao’s earnings in several of his Las Vegas fights, which were published by several media outlets. He said that under the rules of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, the fighters need to be paid on the night of a fight.

    To meet this requirement, Arum paid the NSAC $6 million for Pacquiao in his last fight against Juan Manuel Marquez, which the commission paid to the Filipino after the fight and which could be cashed the next day.

    Arum indicated this was in order to comply with the requirements, even as he pointed out that “in the long form contract,” a copy of which is given the Internal Revenue Service, Pacquiao’s guarantee for the Marquez fight was $22 million, which was paid in full within 10 days, even though the contract stipulated it could be paid within two months.

    The Top Rank promoter said that with the pay-per-view income, which up to now hasn’t all come in, Pacquiao will earn an additional $5 million, above his guaranteed purse for a total income of $30 million.

    “We give the IRS tax people a copy of the real contract and we don’t avoid paying the proper taxes,” said Arum.

    pac is guaranteed $25M for the bradley fight and would be getting upside from PPVs and other revenues. cotto would not be getting any PPV share since floyd wants it all. cotto might receive a fix fee on the range of $6M to $8M.
