Who do you think is the best fighter at 140 right now?

Styles make fights. Boxing is a lot more complex than A beat B and B beat C... etc.

prevoius eliminator fights were called off. Ajose is WBC number 1 contender and he needs the mandatory contender status to get the world title shot.

 

You've missed my point - I'm not saying that Khan beats the other two because he beat Kotelnik clearer, I'm saying the manner in which he beat Kotelnik (by complete shut-out) means he deserves to be rated higher than either Maidana or Alexander.

 

I hope he gets his title shot, and the 140 division has more of the top 10-20 ranked guys fighting each other consistantly, until theres an undisputed number 1

 

Personally I'm very excited about Alexande V Bradley. I think Bradley will win it. I would rank Khan 3rd in the division and then probably Kotelink who might have been unfortunate to lose to Alexander- er, ahem.... Maidana number 5 for me. I think Urango is passed his peak and I think Urango v Olusegen or McCloskey would be a good benchmark for who belongs in the number 6/7/8 spots.

There's a better argument for Khan though. Alexander's main claim is Urango - which was an impressive win, but Urango's nothing special. Khan beat the much more proven Malignaggi and Kotelnik. Which is why he deserves more consideration than Alexander.

I'd say it's Bradley, Khan then Alexander. Certainly not Maidana.

 

You think Malignaggi is a bigger name on your resume than Urango? I would'nt say so.

Malignaggi is known for being one handed, featherfisted and his best career performance was a loss to Cotto.

Urango, fair enough he has'nt exactly had any pretty amazing performance's, but he's a tough *******, iron chinned (except one fight), give Hatton a rough old time and has been upto 147 to fight the like's of Berto.

Plus Alexander has 2 major belt's, either the WBC or the IBF on their own is more credible than Khan's WBA, and he has the two of them

 

ortiz is seriously under-rated on here imo, based on being in a fight 1 fight to soon which he has already said he's learnt alot from
