Who Do You Think is the Best Welterweight after Berto fight and before Cotto-Margo?

    For all of you ESB posters out there, who do you think currently is the best welterweight in the world after seeing the Andre Berto fight and prior to the Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito fight on July 26th. I will list the elite of the welterweight division and you all vote and comment on why you made your selection.

    Cotto is the best Welterweight right now, if Margarito wins then I'll consider him the best though the lineal title remains vacant till Paul Williams is defeated by the winner of Marg/Cotto in my opinion.

    Why? It seems fair to me to give that title to Cotto, he has faired better against his respective competition, has less weaknesses, and is the younger boxer.

    Miguel Cotto by far IMO.. Then there's Margo, Williams, Mosley, & Clottey closely together..

    this thread is kind of stupid... clearly cotto has proved the most at the weight division....

    ranking them would have made more sense

    because Floyd was IMO, far and away the best. Cotto and Margo are the 2nd and 3rd welters and since they have a fight in a month, it's best for me atleast to wait and declare the winner the number 1 welterweight in the world.

    Fair enough. If Margo wins though, it seems that a rematch with him and P. Williams would be required to call him the best.

    Berto is in the lower 10 maybve even ranked 10. a lot of fighter are rated aboe him at Wleter and this fight do not prove nothing. figthing a cab driver don not make him a alite.
