8.5 seconds from the moment Foreman hit the canvas to the time the ref waved it off, and Foreman was up, gloves together, and moving forward.

It was total BS. You can deny it all you want, but you know, it's on video.

A lot of people have wondered why Foreman never contested that call, but the answer is probably simple: They got to him before the fight & told him not to raise a stink if something fishy happened.

Doug Jones was very close early on, Ali was almost knocked out in the first round. A draw would have been fair.

Henry Cooper I. His corner tore the glove to give him extra time to recover after being floored by Henry at the end of the round.

Sonny Liston fights. Both fixed.

Ernie Terrell. He thumbed Ernie in the eye, swelled it up bad early on and Terrell couldn't fight his fight.

Lost FOTC to Frazier.

Joe Frazier II. Holding, grabbing and hitting behind the head; clinch fest and the referee said nothing.

George Foreman. Foreman's condition before the fight and during was called into question.

Ron Lyle. Premature stoppage? Lyle was ahead on scorecards.

Joe Frazier III. Ali wanted to quit the fight.

Jimmy Young. Personally I think it was a TOTAL robbery.

Ken Norton III. TOTAL ROBBERY! Dropped two of three in the series.

Earnie Shavers. Another very close fight given to Ali, a draw would have been fair.

Leon Spinks. Lost to a seven fight novice.

Edit: Just read your post a little more close.. Foreman did contest i believe.. Did not agree with the loss... Went to Christianity, and then admitted Ali really beat him.

Tyson had Douglas down for 13 seconds yet he was still allowed to continue ... seconds down don't mean ****, its always been the referees count that determines everything.

And I just rewatched that KO ... he WAS down for 10 seconds ... you must have the worst time keeping skills ever because he was floored with 10 seconds to go and didn't fully get up before the round was over ... he still had one knee to the floor with no time remaining in the round

the 10 count Always starts when the Ref starts the count,and Ali was 34 against a Monster of a Fighter in His prime in Foreman,in George's long career he was knocked out by one Man,that Man was the Great Ali the Greatest Fighter that ever took a breath.!!!!!

 

A fighter only has to beat the 10 count, not 10 seconds but 10 count.(Seems like I'm just repeating you now)

Also Douglas wasn't really hurt he could have gone up earlier. (He punched the ground because he was angry with himself, if he was truly hurt you don't do that)

I just don't like it when butthurt Tyson fans do everything to discredit Douglas his win over Tyson.
Afterall it was Douglas who caught the flu the day before the fight
