    god, you talk some rubbish.

lennox would crush louis. i love louis, but he doesn't do well when it comes to H2H.

lennox would beat ali by wide UD. that jab and right hand would be too much for someone who was off balance most of the time.

    truth. :deal

Who said we were? It was just a cross comparison of their RING rated opponents at the time they fought them. Monthtly Ratings are god awful to track down, so thankfully we've got Grade-A historians and record keepers such as Henry Hascup with this information.

And no he wouldn't be, considering he only had 11 wins of such, compared to Louis and Ali's 30+. Unless fighting top 10 heavyweights is no different from beating journeymen ?

you can not be serious? lennox gets massively underrated by many on here. and it looks like you're one of them.

ali wouldn't box the **** out of him at all. lewis would have a pretty easy time of it if i'm honest. styles make fights, and lewis' style is all wrong for him. look at what norton did? and he's no where near as good as lewis.

I think the hardcore pro-Lennox sentiment of the past 2 months, a flood, indicates many alts by a couple posters. It started with several troll-like threads boasting Lennox.

No way in hell Lennox is top 5. Prior to the past couple months, I never saw people holding that opinion, then out of nowhere, BOOM (tough actin' Tinactin)...

when the hell did schmeling become an ATG? that's crazy. louis has a pretty bad resume to anyone with common sense. brain washing at it's highest if you ask me.

and i ****ing love joe louis. but he is nowhere near as great as a lot of people say. schmeling was past his best in the first fight, but beat him up and knocked him out. the american media made him out to be invincible, which he wasn't. they did the same thing to liston. he was good, but not as advertised.

    Joe Louis.
26 defenses, great boxing skills and if everything was even. He would be the best head to head.

Ali and Louis are interchangeable at 1 and 2 depending on criteria, but Ali's impact on the sport and the wider world should always be a consideration. Lewis is H2H No 1 for me, a combination of size, skill and versatility, too much for the rest.

i'm talking about the style here. lewis had a style that was all wrong for ali.

and that's a bit rich considering that schmeling beat up and knocked louis out. and schmeling wasn't a puncher. rahman caught lewis in bad shape. and the shot he took him out with would of knocked anyone out. it hit him on the side of the jaw when he was tired as hell.

    You`re off your tits, seriously.

If Lewis beat Ali by wide UD in a dream you`d wake up with your face in your coco pops... you don`t understand styles, Ali had tremendous balance which is why he could afford to appear off balance, especially at his best from 64-67, nobody came close to challenging him on points in those days, he was on a different level, just about impossible to outbox to a decision... big Lennox would look ponderous vs a prime Ali & HE would be the one on the end of a wide UD loss.

Underrated ?... the irony of that comment

    By the way.....

    1. McCall & Rahman were about 3 levels below Ali so what`s your point with the Lewis/Norton thing ? :huh

    2. Lewis fought NOTHING like Ken Norton anyway, not that it matters.

    3. Ali at his best was not in 1973, it was 1964-67, that version takes about 10 rounds off Norton in a 15 rounder, you only have to watch their 2nd fight were Ali was best prepared to understand this.

    4. Glad to help :good

Al.i by a mile Dont forget we were robbed of 3 1/2 years of Ali in his prime when he was banned from fighting Just imagine if he'd not been wrongly banned
Dont forget Ali just refused to be inducted & got banned from boxing for 3 years
William Jefferson Clinton went to England to avoid the possible draft his punishment?? he was voted President of the United States
