In the same sense that a foot-doctor is a doctor, yes.

No, they're not medical doctors... they have Ph.D's in a form of science. (sports science as in movement etc.)
A surgeon is a doctor, but a some engineers can be doctors too.

You obviously know very little about the Sports Science Program. Calling these Doctors "super gym teachers" is an insult to the program. Chiropractors are doctors. Physical Therapy now had a doctorate program. You can be a doctor in just about anything. There is no PhD that is easy to obtain. By the way, how many languages do you speak?

To answer the pertinent question, the Brothers Klitschko are the most intelligent famous boxers.

He may have been gullible, but verbally he was light years ahead of any other boxer that came before and after him, which is an intelligence in itself. The best the likes of the Klits can come up with is 'Pizzaface' for ****'s sake.

He was rude and obnoxious, and the only thing that made it a little endearing was that he put it in rime form most of the time. Wich some rappers do too nowadays.

Marco antonio barrera was a law school student. Marquez was a cpa accountant. I heard his brother also studied law. Larry holmes has been brilliant his money despite a middle school education. Sugar ray leonard, and lennox lewis come across very intelligent people.

"This complex world suits a complex man. Pacquiao dabbles in darts, basketball and billiards. He has a photographic memory, learned to play the piano in one week and, when he is not training, often sleeps only three to four hours a day."
