A good pick. Seemed a very erudite and well spoken gent.
I guess Ali's influence to put him in Moore's last movie--Archie made a few--the Will Smith biopic, Ali.

"Retarted"? Pdub, is that you? See what happens when your coach Mr. Peterson thinks learning defense is a waste of time? :-(

I would obviously add Ali, and also Gene Tunney.

I know the K bros have doctorates in what Phys Ed, but don't recall them ever saying anything terribly bright, and often not very honest either. (And I am "white".)

Now obviously it take some intellect to learn to speak foreign languages. But since Americans are usually not forced to, they often don't know how common it is in Europe to be fluent in several languages.

Just look at the Swiss--even their currency is in German, French and Italian IIRC. And many in Europe learn English.

Ali, e.g., was smart enough to somehow get a very low IQ score on his initial draft tests. THis kept him from being drafted for a few years.:good

Then I guess the Army or whoever figured out those tests couldn't be accurate and drafted him, which led to the ban and the eventual decision by the Supreme Court.

And in the ring, Ali could always figure out a way.
