If Fury loses to Usyk, likely him.

Yes, before Lopez he was talked about as the GOAT p4p. That did not age well.

I'd also say Mayweather. I really rate him and don't see top 10 ATG p4p as out of the question, but you continually hear him being talked about as the GOAT and TBE.

Mike Tyson and Tyson Fury also. You hear them being talked about as the greatest HWs ever, which is especially comical when it comes to Fury. His resume is see through thin when you compare to guys like Louis and Ali.

Shocking resume just because it's lacking in big names? He's won titles in four weight classes and beat more ranked contenders than any current unbeaten fighter, I think. And he's done it in a dominating manner. Not one controversial win.

Big names are good, but not everything. If they were, Purrity would be ranked ahead of Louis.

Old Foreman always gets pretty overated imo. Destroys Tyson and AJ according to some but somehow was outboxed by Morrison and has one good win against Moorer.

    Holyfield.

And Holyfields overratedness had a real life mantifestation in his "title shots for life" subscription. Today fighters avoid losses like the plague so they can keep fighting for titles as long as possible. Holyfield had no need to worry about that.

Quite a few candidates. Wilder, Mayweather and Fury are all up there. But at least Mayweather and Fury have actual names on their resumes. Wilder on the other hand keeps talking about wanting a body on his record. Considering that his record is full of people with no pulse he already got plenty of that.

I dont get the hate for Pac. He fought everyone and his run from basically jmm2 till margarito was legendary.
Top 10, I dont know boxing history is vast. But for me he is the greatest since the 70's next to Duran.

I think Ward is overrated also. He really does not have the long career of a great, as some think he is a great fighter. Leonard had a short career also, but look at the guys he fought. Duran 3 times, Hearns 2, Benitez and Hagler. Ward is not close to that level.. Who is really. But Ward is not close to having a long enough career to make him a great fighter. Hall of fame. Sure, but not great. No way.
