No one ,I think he knows its over. This is a sport that if stick around long enough someone's going to KO you and I think thats what BHOP is waiting for and Shane also. Baldomir probably won't lace up again ,its over.

honestly, he needs to get back down to WW. He was a bit over-muscled, too slow, and lacked endurance in his last fight... he looked sluggish

I think it's possible GBP will push for a Cotto re-match. Shane, imo, has never looked good at 154 and should move back to 147, but their first fight was very good, Cotto has faded a little too and he's still very popular.

This is probably the biggest and best fight at 154 that can be made for Shane.

I think if anyone itll be Berto. Berto probably saw enough weaknesses in SSM to go for it.

It will be Shane's last hurrah.

Yeah Berto I’m sure would now be as enthusiastic as ever to get in the ring with Shane. But I agree with Henke57 above, I think GBP will try and engender a Cotto rematch at 154. And thinking about it, I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing how that would turn out.

Berto, Margo or maybe even Pacquaio. The reason for a Pacquaio fight is Pacquaio isn't going to box and spoil, he'll give Mosley opportunities to brawl. Berto/Margo are there to be hit

The problem with Shane is he suffers from Jeff Lacy syndrome. He simply isnt smart. Fighting up at 54 unless its a marquee name is pointless. I can understand him wanting to stay busy but he MUST select he's opponents in order to remain a viable name and most of all to put on good performances. Mora was simply a joke. The fight remined me alot of what Gainer did when he faced Marquez. Shane needs to be fighting gimme fights against real Mexicans like Gomez who come to fight. Not track stars like Mora. Then he needs to be aiming for a Cotto rematch or a bout with Berto.

He wasnt over muscled at all. He's body is/was fine. He's face looked very podgy though which was odd as Shane adjusted physically to 54 before without his face looking so bloated.
The problem with Shane these days is he's awful against movers. Put him in with a slugger or a guy who wont back up and Shane will always look good. That said as he's got older he's got more and more flat footed throwing one shot at a time instead of throwing punches in bunches.

Let's see him fight Clottey and the winner gets a rematch with Cotto.

True but its hard to throw combos agianst a guy who either A runs or B clinches all night ala Mora.

Clotteys a good fight but i dont think Shane would look good against him. That fight would probably be quite ugly with alot of fouls.

Agreed. You cant fault Shane's peformance as he came to fight. Mora on the other hand had no interest whatsoever.
I just wish we could take boxing back to the old days and dock Mora a percentage of his purse for such a pathetic peformance.

Shane derailed his career by moving to 154 in the first place - he needs to run back to 147 and try to get a final belt shot against Berto.
