i cant see frankie gavin holding onto a world title for too long, unless ****** does a ricky burns with him, hes a classy boxer and can throw a few moves here and there but his lack of power is going to cost him big time, if guys like curtis woodhouse and young mutley can walk through everything he throws he'll be in a world of crisis against a come forward pressure fighter with power

Kel Brook without a doubt, i was so impressed last time, he looked fantastic,

    Frankie Gavin

Tony Bellew, 50/50 fight though, smart boxing again required i think from Tony

So much delusion in this thread guys like Frankie Gavin Tyson Fury joe murray, scot quigg McDonnell DeGale and Stephen smith have no chance of winning a world title some of them might just might get a lucky shot at a worthless belt but I will go on record predicting they will all get hammered. Now Kell Brookes has a good chance of taking a title maybe even competing with some of the top guys at 147. Darren Barker will be battered in 6 or 7 rounds against Martinez as would Macklin though he should have a belt after beating Sturm. Kevin Mitchel is a good European level fighter but he has already been found out at world level and I can’t see that changing any time soon. Groves is a decent shout could clinch a belt if he bides his time and goes for the WBO.

that is a worry, but i think we'll see a bit more determination about him from now on, i think the fact he's not getting tested is leading to him being frustrated, i'd have thought by now he'd be around british title contention, but VVarren doesnt seem to be pushing him too hard, which is a real shame he should be out regularly. i think its a shame he's left arnies gym, i dont think their relationship contributed to "lacklustre" showings, some fighters prefer an arm round the shoulder to a kick up the arse, i thk he would have gone far with arnie, but if it's personal problems causing a relocation there's nothing can be done.

I think Macklin is a sure fire bet to get at least one of WBA (super, regular or interim), WBC (diamond, regular), IBF or WBO belts, maybe Barker if Martinez doesn't ruin him...

Magic Matt is a good shout for the WBA belt. Or Brook for that matter.

Bellew may very well be the next champ although tbf it wouldn't hold much weight as Clev isn't a 'true' champ yet is he really?

McDonnell - no chance given the state of Bantam division at the minute

    Does Afolabi count?

What about Rendall as an outside bet?

ye what's happened to magic matt or rendall? both serious contenders now just dropped off the radar completely with regards to the sanctioning bodies, very strange

    ^^^

I think Hatton's last fight sorted him out with the WBA - some sort of intercontinental shite IIRC

I think Brook, just because there should be quite a few vacant belts around at WW and he's highly ranked.
