    Sweet Pea or Roy Jones?
Pernell had a top 3 defense of all time and Roy was untouchable in his prime. I'll say Roy for making world class fighters look amateur.

Pernell had more skill than just about anybody. Roy had more talent than just about anybody.

    Whitaker for me.

Jones had some brilliant techniques, very polished fundamentals and was an awesome trap setter, but I think Pernell had better footwork, was more versatile and has the GOAT southpaw jab (although Hagler comes close). Also Whitaker has a top 2 defence ever, and IMO had such a good grasp over body mechanics and how to get the most out of his reflexes. I mean, Roy did too, but I think Pernell did it better. Plus he didn't have the power to help him out should he need it.

Whitaker, and it's not even close. He was a damn magician in the ring. His problem was that he seemed a bit disinterested and uninspired at times, as if he was going through the motions or maybe just dancing to the beat of his own drum.

    Pea by a country mile.

A lot of what Jones accomplished was through athleteicism rather than skill, and even that, given what we now know about his PED use...well...

Pernell was more skilled, but Roy was better due to his freak physical attributes (speed and reflexes)

That is a very good way to say it. Watching his fights, way back when, he often seemed to lose interest and, right after that, I would too.

There really is no disagreement. His testosterone levels were tested at inhuman levels. It is not hard to google if you are interested.
