this has probably been done before, but if it has been done, i couldn't find the topic.. anyway, who do you think will win?

personally in my opinion i think it'll be either of the two yank kiddies, ward or dirrell, probably ward. i think they have the right sort of style to get the most wins against any of the other four as they're a bit slower and they're come forward fighters. style wise, it's an advantage to them in my opinion with allan green being the weakest link in the competition. i'm a brit, so obviously i would love for froch to win the tournament, and i think he'll do very well, that's until he meets ward who i think is capable of giving froch a thorough boxing lesson, even dirrell in my opinion would beat froch in a rematch.

i can't wait for froch against kessler. it's a fight i don't think i'll end up betting on. it's a complete different fight for either of them two than their last opponents, for one they won't be having to find their opponent as they'll both be right there. i think in the end froch could have too much as the rounds go by, but it should be an action packed fight.

    anyway post your thoughts.

why? how do you think he'll do against kessler, abraham, or even against a style like ward's? do you think his relentless attacks and durability is too much for them?

post thoughts. you've got to have a reason.

I think Ward is a stylistic nightmare for all the other boxers. I still wish Kessler will be there at the end, but i just don't see it happening. Froch is great entertainment, but like you said Dirrell would beat him in a rematch, and Ward would out box him if they meet in the final, which i think they will.

I actually see Froch winning against Kessler, Abraham, but ultimately he'll come up short.

I am backing Ward to win. I believe he is better rounded and will be able to adapt to whatever he's opponent has to offer.

I am also picking Andre Ward to win. I think he brings all the tools needed to win this. He has good power, speed, movement, overall great boxing skills. I see him easily beating Froch, Abraham, and Kessler again if he had to rematch him. I see his toughest fight coming from Direll, the other slick boxer in this.

Ward and Dirrell, even with comparatively less experience, appear to be the two fighters with the skills and talent to give anyone in the tournament a HARD night.

I think the Kessler fight flattered Ward a LITTLE, Dirrell came on a HUGE amount between the Froch and Abraham fights, and I favour Dirrell to beat Ward if they meet, so I think I favour Dirrell to win the tournament, if he gets to the next stage.

With things as they are though, I think Ward will win, and probably stay undefeated.

    The winnner of Ward-Dirrell, IMHO.

It would be a real shame if Dirrell loses that fight and goes out, he shouldn;t have lost the Froch fight.

    I voted for Andre Ward.

He really surprised me by not only beating Kessler (my original choice to win) but beating him comprehensively.

I think his main strength is his adaptability. He can fight in a number of different ways depending on who he's fighting. When you combine that with his tremendous natural ability and surprising physical strength, he has to be the favourite, for me.

I still think AA can take it.

I guess Dirrell will be eliminated by Ward in a close decision, so he'll be out of the picture. And I'm almost certain Abraham will KO Froch, which leaves him with a second match against Froch or Kessler in the semi's. Pretty sure he'll get by either of them and will face Ward in the final.

    A lot see Ward as the favorite in that case, but I don't think he will be able to outbox Arthur like Dirrell did because;
    1) He's quick, but not as quick as Dirrell.
    2) Ward doesn't have that much of a reach advantage Dirrell had.
    3) Pretty sure AA learned a lot from that experience and will adapt quicker to Ward style as he did against the other Andre.

I guess close UD or late stoppage for Arthur.
