I said kessler he is a little robotic but he mustve been so rusty and with very little sparring partners of quality no wonder he lost to ward (although I think he had big problems finding his rythm because ward butted him constantly until he bled like a beeeeaaatch)

he is rounded so well, he can bang, defend, box and is great at countering.

if not him it is a toss up apart from green he will be demolished by everyone I dont understand why he's in the tourney:tong

I just think Ward is a class above the rest and the tournement has come at the right time for him.

He is going into it fresh, everyone else has been in tough tough fights now and Ward has not. He also has the home advantage and now that Kessler is out of the way, an easy run to the semis. We don't know who he meets there.

The toughest fight for him in the tournement will be Froch. he could be out boxing Froch for 9 rounds but due to his stanima and punch power it would only take 1 punch to change the fight.

I love how the originator of the thread describes Dirrell as a 'come forward fighter'!!!

Good performance against AA but in no way shape or form is Dirrell a 'come forward fighter'!!!

    I think Froch will win.

    AA just doesn't work enough.

    Dirrell can't stomach a fight.

Ward was flattered by the Kessler win but will be a serious force to be reckoned with.

Green has a punchers chance against most but I think he may be out of his depth

Kessler will come back to the fore but it may be too late.

Andre Dirrell is going to win the Super 6. Dirrell is too fast. I think he clearly outboxed Froch over 12 rounds.

I know I'm going against the grain here, but I would love to see Green and Kessler win their next fights. I think Ward will beat Green, but an upset here would actually be good for the tourney. I can't pick between Froch and Kessler, however, a Kessler win would also be good for the tournament. If Green and Kessler win, we're back to square one, and it's anybody's game.

I've always felt Ward will win it, see no reason to change my pick now. He's the best of the bunch, does everything well, no obvious weaknesses. I thought Abraham was a good bet as well, but tactically I don't think he's shrewd enough to get the win in fights where he can't get the knock out, especially against quick, skilled guys outside of Germany.

  8. At the start of this thing I was saying Abraham. As it stands right now I think Andre Ward is emerging as the best in the division and I'm picking him to win. I would really love to see Ward vs. Bute after the whole thing is over.

I'm still going with Froch. He's going to knock Kessler and win a pts decisions against Ward and Abraham. Ward is good and I picked Ward to beat Kessler but Froch is no Kessler. I expect Froch to beat em all.

Don“t know who will win but I think Abraham, Froch, Kessler and Ward will get into the half finals. Pretty sure of that.

i believe ward will win the supersix... he just has that "x factor" that will carry him through the tournament... good speed, great footwork, deceptive power.....

i wouldn't be surprised if dirrell won the tourney either.. the only problem is when he will have to face ward...he might not have enough points to continue through the rounds...

Direll is the best fighter in the Super 6. Hes Faster and Slicker than Ward.

IMO, Andre Ward has had P4P skills & speed for a long time, he just hasn't been active enough in marquis matchups. I thought his handlers were bringing his career along too slowly, so when I 1st learned of the SSWC, I knew it would be his chance to skyrocket.

Technically, I like Ward over Dirrell. If the final fight ends up being Ward vs Dirrell, it'll come down to who has the best combination of technical skills & power. I think the speed difference will be negligible.

I never thought any of the European fighters would beat Ward.

2 early to say 2 many variables ill make my pics when the tournament falls to a 4 man single elim i cant predict this during the round robin part even with the final 4 its tough especially since none of the fights have gone to plan and all have had wild results and controversy

During the Froch/Dirrell fight I told my brother inlaw, "If they could teach this kid to stay in the pocket, bob, weave, slip, and counter hard, he'd be damn near impossible to beat." Andre did much better with that in the Abraham fight. If he gets past Ward, I think he'll win the whole thing.
