I agree...Castillo CLEARLY won... I just watched the video someone put up, Lederman had it for Castillo 115-111... I haven't watched the fight since the fight happened...but I remember thinking that Castillo won by at least three points... :good

I think it was proven that that was a load of shite by the fact the rematch was so close.

    My score card
    rnd: Floyd-Castillo
    1: 10-9
    2: 10-9
    3: 10-9
    4: 10-9
5: 10-9(close round, it becomes obvious that Floyd's shoulder was hurting, but he landed most of the (legal) punches while Castillo cut the ring off well)
    6: 9-10
    7: 9-10
    8: 9-9
9: 10-10(I watched it twice and don't know who to give it to. Floyd showed good defense and landed cleaner, but Castillo showed aggression and cut the ring off good)
    10: 8-10
    11: 10-9
12: 10-9 (Interesting round, Castillo landed more shots, but yet again, half of them are below the belt. I would have given it to him based off ring genralship, but Floyd stole the round in the last minute)
    115-112 Mayweather

Castillo definitely tagged Mayweather with the jab with surprising frequency in the second portion of the fight, and landed well enough to the body to earn five rounds on my card as well. Thing is, Mayweather still landed cleaner shots in some of the later rounds, too...and contrary to what's become popular belief wasn't getting outlanded by any great margin in those rounds, either.

    Wasn't a robbery, either way.

i had it 115-113 to Mayweather. it wasn't impressive or anything but he got the win.

you know posters are just picking Castillo because they hate Floyd. that's just silly.

I do like how people post scores... without factoring in the point deductions.

I don't think so at all..May made the right adjustments and fought a better fight the 2nd time around..EVEN then, May didn't beat him like he's beaten fighters at that weight...135 was Mays weight..it's the weight where he looks the best ever..and he was in his prime... and Castillo took it to him. there's a fighter for everyone... for May, it was Castillo. Castillo won the first fight by three points at least..BUT, even if it was close... Castillo was the champ ...

115-113 (Mayweather) sounds about right. Although Castillo landed more power punches, Floyd won the first 5 rounds and at least 2 out of the last 7 rounds. Pretty good for someone fighting with one good shoulder.

I scored it only on the night it happened and know I had it 7-5 Mayweather.
If there were point deductions I'm certain it did'nt effect the outcome on my card.

Refresh me to the points that were deducted??

Mayweather deducted one point for using his elbows.

Castillo one point for hitting on the break

Which is why my scorecard was 114-112 Mayweather. (7-5, with each guy losing a point)

    They cancel eachother out.

Do you know what round Castillo was deducted the point?
Would like to see if it was a fair point deduction.

First time I scored it for Castillo. Second time for Mayweather. Close fight, I voted Mayweather.
