I don't hate Floyd, but I do believe he lost this fight. That's just how I saw it live on TV. It was close. He avenged his doubters in the rematch though.

i scored the fight by 2 points to Floyd back then so just put 115-113 down because i can't remember the exact score because it's been so long. but i do remember by how many points he beat Castillo by.

it may have been 116-114 for all i know.

can't remember the point deductions if i'm being honest.

if it makes you feel any better, i have both fights in my collection.

Castillo deserved to win, but Mayweather's home judges protected his precious "0".

Good scorecard. Too many fans automatically, and incorrectly, assume that Floyd
won the 5th, but Castillo did some great body work.

Poll numbers look about right. I remember Madonna v FMJ I. 50% here thought Madonna won as opposed to reality of 8% by people whose livelihood is boxing. So to adjust for the hate factor and ALTs multiply FMJ by 6X and you get true numbers.

    47-0 deal with it

All you have to do is look at Mayweathers face waiting for the decision. He KNEW he'd lost but was still hoping his homie officials would gift him the win.
They did & have ever since in every fight he's in since

Floyd won by a round or two. Castillo proved Floyd is beatable though. If he was in with an ATG pressure fighter that night he would not have that 0. I shudder to think what a motivated Duran or JCC would have done to Floyd If they competed in the same era. I actually think HOF lightweight Carlos Ortiz would have had Floyd's number as well. Mobile Pressure fighters with intelligence and accuracy setting shots up with varied faints are a nightmare for Floyd imo.

Damn.. The refs and judges was on the payroll before he even had money like that? It was only his 28th fight.. I wonder why boxing chose him to be protected..it was his promoter Bob Arum doing it.. Who knows...
