remember nobody has had this success against Floyd since ??? So maidiana's "winning" rounds look more in his favor b/c nobody does that to floyd

Mayweather clearly won the fight on points, but also clearly got beat up by Maidana. I see why people want to say this is a draw or that Maidana won but the reality is that he was out scored by Mayweather.

 

Very different fight, awful comparison.

 

Who ever don't have it a draw didn't see the fight twice. One time fight watchers, casual ass boxing fans.

Mayweather was getting better in the 2nd half of the fight, but Maidana was still fighting and pressuring Floyd, and Maidana won round 6 and 8 and round 12 was pretty close.

 

Thread backfired.

 

Watched the fight 3 times and scored it with the sound off.

I had it 115 to 114 to Maidana. There were some very close rounds and the difference between the cards came down to fine margins. The fight swings either way on the close rounds.

Either man by a tight decision I wouldn't complain with.

 

I'm amazed by the number of people that selected Marcos as the winner, to each his own I guess. I can't seem to put together enough evidence to sway me in the direction of Marcos, in my opinion his aggression was ineffective, he looked desperate and sloppy. Don't get me wrong he did himself proud even landed some good blows but overall he was just outclassed....mind you I wasnt very impressed with Floyd on Saturday he's declining but its only natural.

No Floyd whupped The Ghost, Canelo, Cotto, Shane etc.....but he did not put it on Maidana.....Floyd was tested and in real trouble....talking to the ref like a little baby and I like Floyd:nut

Interesting poll results. Almost half had Maidana winning or a draw. I had Mayweather winning fairly close but the poll results probably have more to do with so many fans being sick of Mayweather and all the cancerous trends he has started in the sport.
