And if you are saying that, which i think is bull****, you must add in that Froch made Pavliks offensive display against Hopkins look like a masterclass

i was at the fight and it was very untidy but i have no issues with froch scraping the win as champion. yes froch looked cumbersome for most of this fight but for me dirrell
was the main spolier and you need to make it much more decisive to take the title away.

i would not automatically assume that because froch didn't look great that he will get smashed against MK and AA. Boxing is very much horses for courses and i doubt anyone is going to look great against Dirrell.

That's a crock of ****, mate. To win a boxing match you have to win more rounds than your opponent, regardless of what alphabet strap is on the line. So can Froch expect favourable treatment throughout this tournament as long as he's holding a belt?

Froch was talking utter **** after the fight too. "To win a WBC title you have to do more". What? People have been given WBC titles without even throwing a punch. Carl looked like a sloppy amateur at times in there last night; he should have been apologising for that as opposed to apologising on behalf of his opponent.

:good Spot on. They guy cant fight up close and had zero confidence in his ability to take a shot from Froch. He did'nt start to fight till the 11th,after the point deduction, and when it suddenly dawned on him that he was blowin it. The ref should of got hold of this fight and deducted points much earlier or threatened to chuck the **** out. Then maybe we would of got the fight our our money deserved.

Dirrell fought like an amateur too, which was why the fight was so close.

I haven't watched the reply as I was in the arena but for me there is no way that Dirrell did enough to win the title. The point deduction imo should have been earlier. The ref warned him about half a dozen times EACH ROUND for holding as well as having several words with him between rounds. It was a total joke. Disgraceful from a professional fighter. You expect that from a domestic bum just turning up for a pay cheque against a prospect but not an undefeated fighter. I admit he did make Froch look sloppy and slow witted but Froch landed as many jabs as Dirrell did his three punch clusters and as Froch was coming forward the whole fight and is current champ and Dirrell just grabbed his way out of every exchange I gave it to Froch though I didn't actually score it. Froch was dirty in response to Dirrell continually holding and for that a fighter can be forgiven in my book. A robbery it certainly was not. Notwithstanding all that Froch looked poor and I fear for him against Abraham and Kessler but they are very different fighters who will come to fight and don't have Dirrell's negativity and speed so are not comparible

If you want to see too semi naked men bludgeoning each other mercilessly, go to Newcastle town centre on a Saturday night. Don't watch boxing.

Froch can't throw combinations and throws slow, awkward punches. What were all those wild swings about?

What you've said there isn't an opinion though mate, it's a fundamental flaw in your understanding of a how a fight should be scored.

I want to love Froch as a British World Champion but I really struggle. The guy just hasn't improved in the last 6yrs. In fact, as far as technique goes he is probably getting worse! WBC champ and he keeps putting his feet together after throwing punches, constantly drops his left hand and throws a lot of combinations from a poor stance like a ****ing 5 fight amateur! How can he still be so poor at such a high level? Good job he's dedicated with his fitness can take a good dig. He's still just so damned frustrating to watch! :fire

Well I am glad the voting is more even now than from last night. I thought Dirrell won, but can't see the problem in scoring it to Froch - why was there such a massive uproar last night over the decision?

Reminds me of Calzaghe v Hopkins... there would not be much room for debate if it had gone the other way.....

Kessler next...that will be a tough night for Froch..At this moment in time my head says that he can have a slug fest with Kessler, my heart is telling me he will come second...:yep

    I hope I can be swayed...:good
