I'll go with Dwight Howard. 6'10" 265 lbs with a 35 inch vertical leap and an 88.5" reach. He's an elite physical specimen by any standard. Who knows if he could take a punch though.

Michael Phelps could probably swim without getting wet. Seriously though he's apparently not considered a good athlete out of the water though and just benefits from a bunch of physical oddities that combine to make him a freakishly good swimmer. He's double jointed in elbows, ankles, and knees for example. His 6'7" reach isn't that exceptional since he's 6'4" tall.

Antonio Gates would be one helluva heavyweight. He has the athleticism, (great basketball player) toughness, agility, etc. Plus he's from the city where they're born to throw down-Detroit.

I like Peyton but he's got a giraffe neck and the first time he took a serious punch I suspect he'd look like a pez dispenser.

OchoCinco was doing some nice work when HBO did that 24/7 Inside Training Camp. He looked like a Boxer with a lot of potential. Also, Brandon Jacobs. He is Kendall Holt's homeboy and I think he has done a little Boxing in his past so he might have been pretty good as well.

I've always thought Allan Iverson would have been an awesome welterweight.

Yeah Roy Keane was a good Amateur Boxer. (unbeaten) - [Only had 4 novice league fights between the age of 9-11]

Here is a quote from Keane....

'Boxing is the best sport in the world. It's man against man. You are on your own. There's only one person going to come out of that ring a winner. I suppose I applied that attitude to football. Even now, if the team is not playing well, I always say, "I'll ****ing do well". If somebody gets pulled by the manager after the match, it ain't going to be me. That's what you need.'
