Who do you think would earn more at ppv:pac-hoya or margarito-hoya?

I have heard from many of my friends and boxing fans that a fight with Pac would just be for money and they rather just watch it for free the next week.
But a fight between Margarito and DLH would be huge. You have DLH who alone is a mega star and Margarito to bring in all the Mexican Americans and Mexicans in the US. He is very likeable and to me is the stereotypical fighter that Mexicans fall in love with.

Its obvious Manny is not that big of a draw by himself. The fight with Diaz did less than 200K PPVs. Thats an indicator he is not as big as people think.
I can guarantee you Margarito does high numbers in his next fight even if its just joshua Clottey who is virtually a no one. The same as Diaz.

 

Either one is going to sell pretty big. However, Pac-Hoya would probably be the bigger draw on PPV.

No doubt the answer is Pac/ODH which is probably the biggest fight that can be made from a marketing standpoint.

 

pac vs odlh = mexican, boxing fans and filips from all over the world.

 

the pac fight would because he is huge in his country and with his people and mexican people would buy to see hoya plus pac has been at the top longer then margo

Don't Philpino's get Pac's fight for free? That would cut back on a lot of PPV's.

Pac Hoya. Pacquaio is better known then Margarito. The guys only got an entire country behind him.

 

Yep but it's a 4 hour delayed telecast... people in the Philippines usually buys PPV or watch the fight at movie houses.

 

Where the hell was his country during his last fight?

Margarito/Cotto did twice as many buys as Pac/Diaz!
