That's just one fight. That doesn't prove that Margarito-DLH will earn more. Pac is still the more well-known fighter if you look at their careers and who they have fought. Pac's also been operating at the top longer than Margo.

Pac-DLH will sell more than Margo-DLH. Does not mean Pac-DLH will be the better fight than Margo-DLH.

Besides look at their opponents. Cotto and Diaz. Who was the more popular fighter between the 2?

You got my best nod this time. PPV subscribers now are becoming wise buyers. Pac-Em and Pac-JMM draw more numbers than vs. Diaz because they want every piece of their money worth. Margo vs. DLH may share the same audience Mexi-Ame fans and of course a best match-up for boxing that we should watch. But the PAC-DLH will allure more among Asian community since the Pac is more popular in Asia than Margo.

In terms of buying a PPV for a one "freak boxing match-up" thats another interesting story to watch which I think would draw another category of PPV buyers for the "freak" audience.:rasta

Believe it or not, I think Margarito Hoya would do a lot better. I know the Pac fans are numerous, but I think that fight is a foregone conclusion, Hoya winning easily, and I think it would turn off everyone else from buying it for the big price. But, Margarito and Hoya is so inticing, you dont know what will happen, thus driving up the desire and interest to pay for it.

Like Oscar's gonna green light that idea.

He wants a victorious, glorious ride to the sunset as his farewell fight.

Not the fight of his life.

    Margarito-DLH. No brainer.

    Remember the buzz around Vargas-DLH?

That is an absolute no-brainer. Margo is nowhere close to the popularity of Pacman, which translates into DLH v. PACMAN many more PPV buys.

The ****** Hoya loyalists like Mundo, Beware, and the Resident ESB prostitute, Te Tumbo, AKA "Twan" would buy it so they could have "Oscar de la Hoya Fight Parties" in which they and their out of the closet pals show up in full drag, and have circle jerks going on while Oscar enters the ring. People like me will either mooch it off some people who are dumb enough to buy it, or simply wait one week to watch the Circus act.

I think Marg/ Hoya since Hoya would be considered the underdog, it might add a nail biting sense the other fight just won't have. The other fight is more of an exhibition than anything else. Marg/Hoya has drama up the kazoo.
