There’s only on winner in that competition..., the fans wish that could happen.

Whyte wins the competition, only because he avoids povetkin the worst match up for him imo.
Absolutely no chance miller goes the distance against Whyte, millers engine looks sound so far but Whyte takes him into deep waters in a proper rough up, and knocks miller down with a feather in 8/9th at the latest.

In this context, with many having Povetkin winning ... it's interesting that Usyk may be lined up for Povetkin later in the year.

Also, something to consider is that it could be around 18 months for the fights to play out and the likes of Pulev, Ortiz and Povetkin would be that much older and injury prone over the time.

    Whyte vs Povetkin

    I favor Whyte .

He's at a stage he should have a good handle of what to expect at world level , and Povetkin may not be the same after Joshua fight , he took a brutal stoppage.

Could he have another training camp like the AJ one ? Povetkin style is explosive movements in and out , what does he have left if Whyte makes it an ugly fight ?

Easier to see when some guys fight again.

i think Breazeale will surprise a lot of people.
We don't know what Ortiz or Povetkin have left.
Did Parker once again stagnate ?
How tough is Miller ,really? We won't know until after Joshua even in a loss.

if you would have put Joyce in here , he wins .

It's a tough call and it shows how many good fights there are to make at the weight, we just aren't seeing enough of them.

Few years ago, Ortiz or Pov walk this comfortably. Now, I'm really not to sure. Pulev is a real dark horse here too.

Yeah, he's a stylistic mismatch for pretty much every one of them, Parker may survive but get outworked, Pulev would be worn down, because he's old, and Povetkin, who'd be the biggest risk for Miller, is pretty much shot to **** as well.

I agree with you on all those other than Miller vs Parker. If Parker maintains focus and doesn't try what he did in Whyte fight (Parker got carried away in that fight, he tried going toe to toe with Whyte and it didn't work well) then he can get a points win. Parker can be a decent enough boxer when he wants to be. So my prediction for that was Parker on points because he has got it in him to move around the ring with the jab.

Other thing is that he did manage to keep the Joshua fight fairly close. AJ was clearly ahead but Parker was IN the fight. Miller is easier to hit than AJ and not as tall. I think that comes into my thinking too.

It's alright being a 'pressure fighter' against poor opposition, but once you step up to face the better fighters in the division who can bang back that tends to stop you walking forward as much!

Lol at the thought of Povetkin having a close fight with Chisora, he'd murder him

In honesty though I'd back Povetkin to win. Possibly Ortiz but he's old AF and unsure what he has left. Miller - we don't know how good he is either

If chisora turns up motivated then he can give anyone a good fight like his 2 fights vs Whyte

    **Quarterfinal predictions**

    Whyte beats Breazeale: UD

Povetkin vs Del boy, going to go with an upset here. Chisora bangs out Povetkin.

Ortiz vs Pulev - Old man Ortiz outboxes Pulev in a cagey, close encounter whilst educating Pulev with that hook. Ortiz wins via Unanimous decision.

Parker vs Miller: I really like Joe Parker, but I don't know how well he would deal with a pressure fighter like Miller and if he can keep Miller off him for twelve rounds. Just remember Andy Ruiz gave Parker problems and won quite a few rounds against him, so I'm going Miller with a split decision.

    Semi Finals

Whyte vs Miller. This fight is going to be quite similar to both Chisora fights for Whyte. Whyte wins via Unanimous decision. Miller hits the canvas twice.

Ortiz vs Chisora. Ortiz completely outboxes Chisora for 7+ rounds, unfortunately for Ortiz Chisora has a decent chin and Ortiz has bad blood pressure/heart problems. Ortiz's heart fails him, Chisora knocks him out in the 11th round of a frantic fight.
    ________
    __Final__
    ________

Repeat of the 2nd fight, Whyte knocks Chisora out, brutally.
