who do you think would win, Tony Bellew vs Nathan Cleverly?

I'd like to see Bellew at Cruiser in the next few years. True knockout power in both hands.

Cleverly however could be world class someday, definitely a fight I'd like to see next year some time.

 

Why do we wanna see him at cruiser?

If he's healthy at LHW, he could be a beast. The boy fought at super heavy as an amateur. He has retained his speed. The natural power is there. He's big. So again, if he's healthy, this is a great weight for him.

 

Do you not think he looks slightly drained at LHW?

 

Having seen him fight at HW in the ams, I think he looks good as a LHW. He looked overweight previously, for me he looks in tip top nick at the moment!

 

I do remember thinking he looked a bit fleshy in the amateurs, but I did think he looked kinda drained at LHW, maybe it's just a visual thing for me, I always thought he'd be a natural Cruiser. As mentioned though, he doesn't seem to have lost any power, so if he's making the weight easily, fair enough.

 

I'm not sure. He looks a bit gaunt in his face, but maybe he's always like that. I havn't seen enough of him to know.

Nothing in his body says he's drained. He doesn't look dry or anything, and he's not fighting like he's drained. Seems okay to me at the moment. Could outgrow it in the future.

 

A lot of guys look gaunt - Hatton looks like an AIDS victim on the scales!

 

He looks comfortable at LHW, and if he can keep it that way, his height and power give him plenty of advantages at that weight. I'd stay there if I were him.

 

Dont get TFFP started on Hatton!
