I can't really believe that people are picking a fairly untested chinny contender as an opponent over established champions :huh
Urango is like a cruise ship, hard t stop but takes forever getting there, Khan would outbox him easily. To beat Khan you need a chin, an average dig, but most of all a bit speed
Urango is the only one of the top ten LWW that I think that Khan would definately lose to...the man is a ****ing monster This content is protected
He is a monster, but a SLOW monster, but like getting chased by Frankenstein, you could just stop and slap him and then jog away for a bit:yep
Devon Alexander.......if he gets past him, then he will be ready for Maidana.....still too early for him to take on Bradley imo!
He is very slow, but in a 20x20 room you wouldn't back yourself to keep away from him for 35 minutes...sooner or later he would catch up with you and then :yikes
I think Khan could hold his own against Urango, even standing in the center of the ring out boxing him and slipping punches, Khans skills are superior to Urango..... All Urango has got is some vicious punching ability, and maybe a bit of durability ?...... He can try and hunt Khan down, but he ain't the sort of fighter that would put on immense pressure and pin Khan down..... he sort of just plods about looking for them dangerous hooks !! I wouldn't even be surprised if Khan stopped Urango... just picking him apart and confusing him, then just overwhelming him
Remember Urango sledge hammering a few left hooks to the body of Hatton when they fought. The only time i've ever seen Hatton really uncomfortable. If he'd have hit me with them i'd still be doubled up now!
I actually think that would be a brilliant fight, but I feel like they'd like to build it up a bit more, see if Ortiz can regain some of the shine he lost in the Maidana loss before he goes in against Khan.
khan should clean up the jnr welter division and then move on to some big fights if he suceeds, so id go for bradley/petereson winner next, then alexander and then urango if they are still champions. if he gets through tose then he will be ready for a super fight with whomever is the top dogs at the time
Am I the only one who think Khan needs another learning fight before he takes on the best Light Welters. I would like to see him against a genuine 10-20 Light Welter someone out of Victor Manuel Cayo, Dennis Laurente, Joel Casamayor, Josesito Lopez, Ajose Olesegan, Paul McCloskey. I think that with more time and more confidence he could be a huge star remember he is only 22 and has only had one defense against a bit of a soft touch opponent.
