Even since Prescott crushed Khan, I have been itching for a rematch, and felt Khan must get his revenge. But after reviewing both fighters over the past 15 months, the rematch no longer holds any weight. The tables have turned incredibly, as Khan has gone on to improve greatly, whilst Prescott has been exposed for the one trick pony he is. Saturday night was what confirmed it for us, as Prescott seemed to have learned nothing from his last fight. He looked awful, and showed his inability to adjust his game plan. The only thing he does for the twelve rounds, is load up and throw bombs. He's hopeless on the inside, whilst the accuracy of his punches were terrible. Khan surpasses him by a mile, and doesn't really need to bother fighting him, when he'll soon have the likes of JMM, Juan Diaz, Maidana, Ortiz, and Bradley as options.
Casamayor would be a good first fight in America. But it sounds to me like they will go with Castillo.
