I actually don't want to see his face again against anyone in the ring, but if it has to be someone it should be Bute. And Bute should send him right back to doctor Shaw Hi for another brain examination. :bart
If Dirrell is still under contract with Showtime until the end of the tournament (as said by some posters), we'll know how they like Dirrell now. If they force him to fight Bute without a tune up, we'll they want him to promote Bute toward the final 6 winner.
I voted I don't want to see this coward again and to my suprise, it has the most votes. F*ck Dirrell!
As much as I'd like to see Bute smash Dirrell to pieces, I'm surprised it's got the most votes. I'm always pleased to see how popular boxing is in Canada but I'd hate to see dirrell put on another spoiling performance and kill the usually terrific atmosphere from the Canadians. They deserve better than what Dirrell has to offer.
Sorry mate but you are green as **** if you think he was hit at full force He clearly took a dive because he was in massive trouble and looking like he might get ktfo
I'm sorry but after he dropped out the super six.. he should work his way up to a title shot.. IMO... he doesn't deserve a big fight whether he faked his injury or not.. because he STILL DROPPED OUT OF THE TOURNEY... why does he deserve a big fight???.... if anyone, he should at least fight Bute because both are truly unproven compared to the competition Kessler, Ward, and Froch has faced and clearly beaten.. Dirrel lost to Froch and had an unimpressive ending with Abraham.. i think he really needs to prove himself a top super middleweight.. he hasn't earned it yet to me.. he's just a decent contender..
He wants to, but would prefer to be holding a belt when they finally fight. From the Scene: (about the Ward fight) "I don't want to put any skepticism to saying that the fight was too early because people already believe that I was dodging him, but come on man we're two young fighters. We're both at the top of our career and people look to see us fight and they know ever since we've turned professional that people have been wanting to see us fight. They wanted to know if we can live up to the standards of bringing in a big crowd and they said that we can do that now." "The Super Six was a beautiful opportunity for me but I dont believe that it was the right time. Unfortunately this did happen, and we wouldve had our time to shine and we would have had a great crowd but I know it could be better with both of us carrying a championship, both of us at the high rise of our career, (and) at the peak of our performance. People are going to pay to see us. Its definitely a potential big fight and I dont want to sell it short."
