Who do you want Kessler to fight now?

Because Haussler was ranked higher than Sartison and Kessler was supposed to fight him instead of Sartison. Becasue Haussler was passed over, Kessler must fight him next.

I just got this now, and Kessler's legs buckle for a second in round 1 from a great shot

But he doesn't look really badly shaken, and the legs are strong after a few seconds

Bute bar none is he biggest fight out there for Kessler, challenge wise. It should happen in 2009 sometime.

 

A protest was filed by Haussler's promoter after the Kessler/Sartison fight was sanctioned. I'm not 100% sure why the fight was sanctioned in the first place. I just wish Kessler would've taken the Miranda fight. He would've been in a much better position had he took that fight.

 

Abraham or Taylor/Pavlik why should Miranda be the only one to take and want tough fights. I want the Danish Pastry to step it up and fight a dangerous opponent hell AA and Miranda and Kelly have done it more than once. AA has got my respect came in and shut everyone up and with a hairline to the rib no less. I was rooting for Miranda and thought he would blast AA. Oh well, I think AA is too short at 5'9 to beat Kelly but he has a punchers chance vs anyone.
I respect what he did and I look foward to seeing him again his power makes him exciting.

I think he was leaning back and that made it look worse than it was because of balance. Sariston moved right in but was not able to do anything because Kessler was already 'recovered'.

 

Well, I wonder after this fight how many people would still pick Kessler KO/TKO over Pavlik after Kessler via heat exhaustion over Soristan? Kessler took the same kind of shots from Soristan that Kelly takes and is labled as 'leaky defense' for. I like Kelly's chances much more after this fight.

 

I would quit these arguments if I where you. Kessler got caught once in the first round and pretty much cruised himself to a victory after that. Kesslers defence is solid - Pavliks best defence really is his offence.

And Sartison didnt go down because of heat exhaustion but because he got hit.

 

Well, after this display by Kessler, would you still pick him to KO/TKO Pavlik as many here have done? Kessler was getting hit just as Pavlik does, at the end of the other guys range. I just watched the fight. Yet Kelly is leaky compared to Kessler? I think not. Had Pavlik gone this deep with the same opponent this board would be HOWLING that it proved he is all hype.

i agree kesslers performance was not impressive , apart from his stamina to still get the ko in the 12th round, he was hit way to often by this opponent
