Please articulate how dominating all but 20 seconds of the 35 odd minutes of the fight, and being up eleven rounds to one up (or possibly 12 rounds to zero) at the time of stoppage can be considered "going deep?"
According to what DiBella said, was that both should meet after each had had a tuneup fight. They have had that, however, Taylor lost his. Personally I think that Kessler should just meet Bute now.
By this you of course mean, more often than he usually does, which is not alot. He still got tagged alot less than most fighters do in a WC match.
I am not calling anyone anything. I am merely quoting what DiBella said before the first Pavlik fight was made.
I think you do - as far as I call recall it was after Pavlik II - about Xmas 2008 was mentioned - so Taylor better saddle up and get going
i agree. perhaps he should give bute or froch a boxing lesson while waiting for the result of pavlik v king arthur.
Had Pavlik not stopped Lockett until round 12 people would be saying Pavlik had been 'exposed'. I'm sorry, but Sorinstan was not that much better of fighter at SMW. I'm not saying anything about Kessler as much as the partisanship on this forum really because you can't really match the paper records. Kelly and Mikkel are very likely to meet some day, so may as well start the comparisons now. :good
Its so quiet you can hear a pin drop we know all about the Sartison scrap and the Pastry did not look great at all in that one. Sartison is a Lockette type can isnt he?
50 to 1 odds? I think Lockett had better odds. I'm not trying to knock Kessler, just trying to point out the disparity in standards.
