Who do you want Khan to face

As we all know Khan is having difficulty finding a opponent for his April 16th date, there are many rumours flying around as to why some of them havent been made.

Possible candidates are.

Michael Katsidis
Paul McCloskey
Lamont Peterson
Breidis Prescott

Michael Katsidis is a good fighter who has been campaigning at lightweight and been on the fringes of holding a world title, why should team khan be taking this fight against a small lightweight who holds absolutely no advantages over them and has not proven himself at lightwelterweight yet alone his own weight division, not speed not height not boxing skill and certainly not toughness. Yes he may hold power advantage but that is disputable as khan has got much stronger due to his work with ariza.

Paul McCloskey is a nice southpaw with some decent moves nothing too fancy but he so far has got the job done everytime out, he is the current european champion and negotiations broke down earlier this week when team khan tried to short change his camp.

Lamont peterson quite a good fighter who lost against bradley and got a draw with ortiz (although he didnt deserve t at all imo) he has some ok boxing skil but he gets disheartedned to quickly and against ortiz we had two guys who both looked like they didnt want to be in the ring.

bredis prescott as most of you know knocked out amir khan in brutal fashion just under a minute, yes he is un proven apart from his win against khan two years ago, to me this would be the most intriguing fight by far as it has history and will be the most significant because of the revenge factor. khan has moaned about not having an opponent lined up and moaned about potential opponents asking for too much money, well in prescott he has a poor fighter who would literally bite the offer off his hand and agree to every one of khans demands just to prove to himself that it was no fluke.

Zab judah has a title fight in march

 

Katsidis could barely pressure himself into juan diaz:rofl who is there to be hit yet alone a speedster like khan he would get peppered to no end, khan would end that fight when he wants to.

Lamont peterson is a good fighter no one is disputing that, he tends to lack alot of confidence like in the ortiz fight he didnt want it and was lucky to get the draw.

Regardless of prescott begging for a payday fighters fight for money and he knocked out khan with ease and would test khans heart, now i know khan has bags of it but it takes a different animal to get in the ring with someone after they have ko 'd you in the fashion that khan did.

At least prescott has a advantage against khan mentally and in the power department.

The othes wont have the ability to outbox him or out brawl him and less likely to knock him out.

prescott is the way forward but this fight only makes sense in march while everyone is tied up.

Did i mention he will benefit khans pocket the most, boxing is a business remeber its not a fan club.:deal

imo i would have rather seen this too but down the line it makes things more exciting for the rest of the 140lbs landscape as the major players will all have titles and if zab wins it will bring another spark back to the division.
