I would have said "anyone but no rematch" but looking at the list of available ranked fighters in 140 and 147 divisions, a rematch with Marquez or Bradley looks to be better options (but I prefer Marquez over Bradley).

    Someone new.

    What about Kirkland?

I know he's not that highly ranked but he's young and the fight couldn't fail to be enjoyable

All those rematches, they just arent that appealing to me

Out of all of those recycled fights, probably Cotto II at 154. That's the only one which, if he wins good, will get him some respect and shut a few critics up. But if 154 is too much of a jump for him - understandably so - then stick to 147 for JMM. At least that'll be something he'll be trying to avenge/correct. And Bradley's a waste of time. No interest in seeing that boring, ugly fight again.

But really, I'd prefer to see him in something new. The winner of Rios/Alvarado would have been ok if it wasn't so close to November. Someone like Berto would have been good, too. Or Peterson, even.

I was tempted to say Bradley or JMM but JMM said that if he doesnt fight Pac he will fight Bradley and thats a fight that i would love to see, that leaves Cotto II as the only other option since Mayweather will most likely sit the rest of the year out so i would probably pick Cotto not cause i think it will be a different fight but so i can watch JMM against Tim Bradley.

Bradley or Marquez. Cotto would be a good fight if it's at 154 with no catchweights. Even then I don't see Cotto doing any better because Pacquiao's style is wrong for him.

Cotto at a comfortable weight is an entirely different animal.
