    isnt it completely strange that floyd had a tough time with him? cotto was older, more past it, and floyd still struggled against him. floyd needs to hang them up soon or hes gonna get ko by someone better than cotto

    Again, It a matter of styles, Cotto could had given Mayweather more fits at 147. Let me ask you this, Marquez beat Pacquiao more cealry at WW then at FW, do you think it was because JMM belongs at WW or is it just because of his style??

    He only fights twice a year as it is and is going to be 34 in a few months. He probably only as a few fights left in him. Superstars fighting twice a year is already too infrequent I'd hate to see it drop to once a year.

    Not too mention, if he did fight Mayweather in April/May that still gives him 4-5 months to prepare for a Mayweathr fight after his December match.

    I think the timeoff would help Manny more than hurt him. He has been pretty consistent and time off might help. Plus, this would give Arum enough time to "build his temporary stadium" he always talks about but never does.

    Cotto 2 would be my choice, too. I'm cool with a non-title bout catchweight of 150 or above.
