theftjr should fight golovkin next for the right to face cotto. *****s are shitting in their skirts....right about, now.:rofl:hi:
I don't know about TBE but Cotto II for Lineal MW Title(@/around 158/59) Pacquiao WBO Title (just to get it over with) Should be the top choices Porter/Garcia are fighting in Aug, Thurman is rumoured to be fighting Maidana on Mayweather's undercard, Alvarez if he win I think takes a Cotto fight first before fighting Mayweather again, Lara if he wins would be mandatory but Lara is boring as hell and I don't really want to see that but understand it.
Pacquiao already has a November date set. Mayweather's dates are already set through 2015. Pacquiao knows who to call.
theftjr should fight golovkin if he wants to be called tbe. cotto just moved up weight, why is the guy claiming to be tbe keeps feedign on bloated bums>? worse, he got raped by a caveman with pillows on.hi:
Yeah SRR is the best ever.. Stupid Floyd calling himself the best ever and stupid Ali calling himself the greatest of all time...smh Did I do it right?
Last 3 fights for FLoyd: 1. Pacman 2. Cotto at MW 3. Whoever the better fighter is between Lara and Alvarez for the MW title as his swan song or a rematch with Pacman if their first fight was close. I've always been a big fan of Mayweather inside the ring, but this TBE label is just nonsensical. He fights those last 3 fights and wins them in dominant fashion, than he can start calling himself one of the top 10-15 greatest to ever lace them up and be taken much more seriously.
This is just a recycled statement that doesn't hold much merit to it. The only guy he hasn't fought that everyone clamors about is Pacman. Now truthfully I believe they're both at fault for the fight not being made. Obviously the reasons are way too many to list now, but I feel both deserve a certain amount of blame for it not materializing. Based on your theory, than Pacman hasn't fought the best competition of his era either since FLoyd would clearly be the biggest opponent legacy-wise on Manny's resume if they fought. I still think they both need each other and whoever wins that fight will not only secure their place as the best of their generation, but also really catapult their rankings on the ATG list. They're both lineal champs at 4 weight classes and are obviously the best of their era. It's a shame that a fight hasn't been made yet considering they've been fighting in and around each other's weight classes for over 6 years now.
Only D. Garcia & Khan left for him really... So beat Garcia in Sept. & wait to see what happens next Both a Manny & a Cotto II fight are far fetched... Alvarez should he beat Lara becomes the number one option again.
Honestly, rankings are quite debatable. There are some dominant featherweight and lightweight champions that are constantly spoken about in the top 5-10 of all time. None of these guys went up in weight and won titles in other weightclasses, rather they just stayed in one weight division and became kingpins for a long period of time. I put more stock into guys winning lineal championships in multiple weightclasses, that's just my personal opinion. If FLoyd beats Cotto for the MW title and seals his 5th lineal championship, that would be a record. Even if you go by old time standards, he'd be locking up his 3rd true lineal title (LW, WW, and MW.) He'd also be the current and defending lineal champion in 3 weightclasses simultaneously. These are all incredible feats and have never been done before in the history of the sport. The only guys I can remember that started at such a low weight class (130) and won titles at MW are Duran (a universally considered top 10 P4P fighter) and DLH. DLH won an alphabet title at MW in a highly controversial decision against STurm, so him winning a title at MW doesn't mean as much as when Duran beat Barkley or if FLoyd were to beat Cotto. But just as important in my eyes is a fight with Manny. He beats Pacman who is another Top 30 ATG and also wins the lineal MW title, I honestly think FLoyd would have a strong argument as one of the top 10-12 fighters of all time. Anyway, it all depends on who he takes on in his next few fights. But he can really do wonders to his overall legacy and enhance it exponentially with a strong close out against the best fighters available.
The difference between Bballchump and MVC is that Bballchump actually isn't a troll. He really does love Mayweather that much. TBE has been dead nearly 25 years. He isn't fighting anyone next.
Would be fun to see Maidana II just to see if he had the wrong game plan going in, or if he has slipped. Not reason enough to warrant a rematch though. He would win again.
