Who do you want to see Calzaghe fight next?

Young, fast, talented and would make for a hell of a fight, win or lose. Plus he's considered by most as the best light heavyweight in the world at the moment and has the WBC belt. Beating Calzaghe would do A LOT for him. At the same time, Calzaghe beating Dawson would do A LOT for him.

 

Lucian Bute at 165 then retire

 

i dont know,i think he could just sit back and wait until the smoke clears out and fight the one with the most demand, after Tarver fights Dawson, and Roy Jones jr. fights Johnson. But he will probably just fight Roy Jones Jr. and retire if he is serious about retiring after one more fight.

 

Roy is the more marketable fight at Calzaghe's career.
Chad Dawson is the best fight for boxing fans out there. (But we aren't going to see it)

Roy can't win if he hangs on the ropes with his guard up.

 

I have a feeling we'll see him fight Roy Jones. The money is there, both want it, and it's between two big names.

 

Roy ..Its the most marketable and with the way Joe looked tonight it could end up be very entertaining ..There is also Tarver ..He unfortunatly is more marketable than Dawson if a Jones fight doesn't materealize ..

 

I'd like to see him fight Glen Johnson. Joe should win, but he'd be facing a real puncher with a solid chin, who wouldn't back up. Would be an interesting fight.

 

Since many are saying that Pavlik easily beats him, I'd say Pavlik. However, don't expect this one to look like the Hopkins fight though. I think Joe wins this one. When utilizing his boxing ability and his jab Calzaghe is very effective, evident by his match with Kessler. I thought he lost to Hopkins, but he would win a UD against Pavlik.

 

Most likely he'll rematch Evans Ashira in a sold out wembley stadium if Frank gets his way.

But i'd personally favour a fight with Dawson. If not him, then Pavlik.

 

That's the smart fight to take. Also, the 2 young guys, Dawson and Pavlik, have basically the rest of 2008 already mapped out. Calzaghe should fight one more time this year, and Roy should have the schedule for it. That it's the biggest money fight doesn't hurt, either.

if he gets flash kd'd ffrom hopkins, what does pavlik do? hes bigger and stronger than hopkins.

pavlik makes him quit in 9 and pavlik becomes the first person to hold 3 (three) linear titles at once. nuff said.
