Is it just me or does anyone else think Ricardo Torres vs Marcos Maidana is a must-make fight? :bbb

Maybe rematch Kotelnik on neutral territory. Urango maybe? Amir Khan? The guy who toasted Khan, Breidis Prescott perhaps? A lot of great fights that can be made at 140. I'm glad to see a hungry fighter who hasn't got much recognition finally get in on some of the action..

How do you think Maidana does against these guys?

Agreed. It would naturally be the most logical fight for him.

Kotelnik, if Sergiy wins against Khan. Their first fight was very good, classic boxer vs. puncher fight. But i highly doubt Kotelnik would get decision against Khan in Britain.
Amir Khan is good fight too, Maidana can bacame a destroyer of hyped young boxer.
I don't want to see him against Bradley, who will overbox Marcos like Kotelnik did, Maidana is not ready for him, his boxing skills and defence still poor.

Maidana-Campbell would be a great action fight and they have very similar styles which would be awesome to watch. That's what I'd want to see. That would also be the best career move for him as it's a very winnable fight for him.

Rematch Kotelnik, the fight was a war.

Other than that a year or so ago i made a thread about Maidana asking had anyone seen the guy fight, i think he was 22-0 at the time and everyone said he was a tomato can, so i kind of ignored him until he resurfaced against Kotelnik.

Plus it turns out he isnt that bad a fighter.

I'd like to see if he could put a dent in Urango; that would be my pick.

Given how good the Kotelnik and Ortiz fights were - i.e. the best 140-pound fights in recent memory - then you'd have to say rematches.

Obviously, Ortiz won't go for a rematch but Kotelnik may have to.

I actually want Khan to beat Kotelnik now, so that a) I can see him and his PR ppl squirm out of a defense v Maidana or b) to see him get Prescott'd.

I wanna see him in there with Urango. Two big ass bangers. Urango is a ****in' tank though.

So this would really showcase how Maidana can deal with someone just as aggressive as him, but wont go down from his assault. Hatton outboxed him so its not impossible...I want to see if Maidana can do it too.

EDIT: if Maidana can break Urango's chin...I'd **** my pants...and I think the JWW division would too.

    Maidana vs Kotelnik II.

Their first encounter was very entertaining.I for sure would love to watch their rematch.
