    1. Guillermo Rigondeaux
    2. Abner Mares-Anselmo Moreno winner

Do you think he's more deserving than the Mares-Moreno winner? :think

Maybe not, but the fight is much easier to make, and would arguably be a tougher fight for Nonito.

Mares and Moreno are elite, proven fighters with multiple examples of skill against top tier competition.

Rigondeaux is none of that. He "might" be, but in the end, his lofty ranking and well thought of abilities are largely in theory rather than practice. Rico Ramos. OK, that was his best win? What about some others? Super close win over Cordoba, Marroquin, and Kennedy. Suuuuuuuuuuure, Donaire's ducking him alright...

Rigo is more realistic than Mares and Moreno because of the promoter feud
Won't stop Donaire from ducking Rigo like the plague

Correct. Ramos was nothing more than a prospect with a belt who got a fluke victory over Shimonda, who himself got an upset over Li Lee who himself got an upset victory over Krateendaeggym. I'd probably say an SD over Cordoba is his best victory, which is someway behind the resumes of both Moreno and Mares (particularly when the winner of that should appear on most pound for pound list if they aren't already there).

In a perfect world where the GBP-TR feud doesn't exist, Mares-Moreno winner

Then Riglassdeaux and the Indonesian Sven Ottke in that order
