Make it happen. They're under the same promoter.

Nope, but he (Navarez) never beat anyone and Mares and Moreno still had a better resume.

Mayweather and Pacquiao have often faced fighters only established at divisions below the one they were fighting at or fighting at a division when on paper they are clearly best suited to move up. People rank those wins just fine and order their PPV fights at a high rate despite this.

I am of the opinion that a 118 pound Moreno beats every 122 pound fighter out there easily with the exception of Donaire and Rigondeaux. Your pointing out his lack of experience at 122 is a legit observation though.

I COULD SAY: At 122, Rigo is elite by virtue of one win and one win only, and that win itself is only as relevant due to a lineage two fights removed from the relevant top dog in the division, that was Poonsawat. In the overall sport of boxing and comparing him across divisions, he has not proven to be elite and quite a ways below the Donaire, Mares, and Moreno's of the world. And look, Mares and Moreno are fighting at 122 next.

This is a damn good plan. And, considering the contract situation, very viable.
