You have not included the fighter who probably is the best if Pavlik has high hopes for the future: Balzay.

This fight sets him up for an interesting future.

On the other hand, if the Hopkins fight scared him, then perhaps Sturm or Mundine are the best options. Paul Willimas would also be ok.

Why would i include a guy, who comes from the most protected boxing stable? They will not let him bring his belt and get robbed, or smashed. No chance. Theres no point even talking about that.

Pavlik VS Sturm is the best fight...unify the belts and get a super champ at 160.

Next would be Pavlik VS Mundine but dont know if this can get made as Mundine is the king of his world and wants the big $$$ while Pavlik thinks the same...Pavlik has the belts and should get the large share but Mundine wont want to go to the states to get KTFO for the same money he can make in Australia for a high % chance of the win.

No -- I do not remember that, but PWilly's handlers have screwed him out of two shots at KP because they have no clue how to deal with Arum.

I voted for Sturm because I think that is the most meaningful fight if Pavlik wants to stay at 160. On the other hand I agrre with you about Balzsay.

Basically Pavlik has a choice. He could stay at 160, and just clear the deck, beat every conceivable challenger, and when a new star comes over the horizon, knock him out too. That's the career middleweight route, and in the long run it would probably work out quite well, as long as making weight does not become an issue. That would require that he be very patient, and totally ignore the critics. The money and status would come over time.

The other option is move up and go for immediate satisfaction. Fight Balzsay, and then Bute. If he won those two fights, his status would be right back where it was after the 2nd Taylor fight, and he would be the obvious choice for the winner of the Showtime tournament.

The latest news says Sturm is his first choice.

Stop lying. Kelly ran and went up in weight to fight a easy fight in Bernard hopkins the 43 year old vet but ended up getting worked out. Executioner style. B-HOP even wound up on Pavlik like sugar ray did to haggler. LMFAO. Try again just on July 18 they tried to set another match up with pavlik between paul williams and the ghost. How about him and his camp declined the offer. I smell puss u see. Stop running Kelly.:bbb
