Makes sense in so many ways as its a very worthy opponent for a replacement, Matchroom has ties with Ortiz' management and have worked together before and it offers Ortiz the kind of retirement payday he's no doubt hanging on for. I don't think they can do that with the ticket prices. Ortiz is perfectly okay as a replacement. If Charr showed up, they'd need to give refunds.

That's not the point.
Ortiz doesn't have the nationality, while Hunter and Ruiz Jr do. They want to get the casuals on board, who mostly have no idea who Ortiz is also. No use chanting the national anthem "U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A !" without a Murican in the mix.
