I expect Wlad to be back in the ring in about three months after this lackluster performance.

I'd have to go with Chagaev even though it could be an ugly fight like this one since Chagaev is another smallish, awkard lefty. Chagaev was in attendance so maybe the Krasniqi talk was just that, talk. Additionally, K2 have already contacted Kohl about Wlad-Chagaev. Imo, unification is more important than looking good. Mandatory Povetkin would be my next choice but he's taking some time off. Good styles clash here and would be exciting as long as it lasted. Third, might as well get rid of mandatory Tony Thompson, which would be as competitive and exciting as Austin was.

I think these are the only logical and available choices at this point. Big names like Rahman, Toney, Golota just offer nothing competitive. Unfortunately, I think he'll end up with Thompson. Thoughts?

Definately Chag but as long as he fights his mandatories on time and doesnt get stripped.

Chagaev. Wlad might stay away from him for a while because he's worried about southpaws ever since Sanders.

I don't really think that's an issue that would prevent a fight. Klit didnt look good but he dominated Sultan. Chagaev, imo is very comparable to Sultan. Some small differences w/Chagaev: A bit more powerful, less movement, lacks a right hand, slightly more active. I think it would be more tv friendly since Ruslan would be in front of Wlad more.

Fight all of the Titlist's, become the Undisputed Heavyweight Champ , and then retire...end of story.

Actually Chagaev will move laterally more than Ibragimov and can counter better. I see Wlad being just as tentative because Chagaev is a bigger puncher than Iggy.

really? i thought he was a bit stationary against valuev and virchis. He moved a lot early against valuev but seemed to gas the last 4 rounds. He countered with his left over Valuev's weak and pawing jab. He really has no power right hand either. Seems like he is more predictable but hey what do i know. I thought Wlad was going to decapitate Sultan.

    Valuev..

Want to see him against a 7ft giant.Just be interesting to see how that panned out.

Wlad would probably win via points but it would be interesting to see if he just stuck to using his jab or actually trading with a fighter actually bigger then him.

I'd like to see this fight too but unfortunately, it's not gonna happen anytime soon. He is Chagaev's mandatory and will wait for his title shot. Now, Chagaev could bypass him and fight Wlad. It may be the best fight out there but won't be Wlad's next fight. Wlad will fight in the next three or four months.

Why retire right after unifiying? He's got more than 2 fights left in him. Do you happen to vote the last option :hey

Ruslan Chagaev for the purpose of additional unification. However, Ruslan is content fighting the Skelton's and Krasniqi's of the division. Look for him to face Michael Moorer later this year.

I would like to see him face Ruslan Chagaev next and Alexander Povetkin and Tonny Thompson fight each other. With the winers facing each other.

Golota for possible comedy. It could not be any worse than the last fight

David Haye, I dont even feel like bothering with the rest of this pathetic divison anymore. I mean Peter-Maskaev is supposed to be the next big Heavyweight fight out there and the winner would create some so called mega fight with Wlad and its laughable because Peter was getting beat all around the ring by Jameel McCline who lost to ****ing ZURI LAWERENCE and Maskaev ive seen that dude KOed badly atleast 3 times where I thought he was about to die. Haye is a exicting in your face puncher we need that kinda man in the Heavyweights divison.
