The outcome seems to be widely divided in opinion as while Alverez is favorite to have an easy night by many many people think Shane will win by KO But my question is who do you want to win and why?
Even if I like Canelo it will be good for boxing to see him lose against mosley, that way Canelo can get back to fight real contenders on his quest for a belt,I don't think they'll bring back WW Hatton for another MW title fight.Its the only way to see him mixing it with Lara ,cotto,JK ,Molina .But almost no chance to happen.
Alvarez. Only because it's time for Shane to hang it up. He's taking up space when there are better challenges out there.
Shane. I like Canelo but I like Shane more, especially the older version, and after the whoopin' he put on Margacheato. I'd like him to beat the father time once more, then hang 'em up.
i am actually hoping for an upset, simple because i am tired of thise missmatchess being made, canelo is supposed to be a champion, or belt holder, and when you hold a belt, you should fight the best in your devision, not old shot shane mosley
As great as it would be to see Shane pull off an epic upset, that would just lead to him fighting more and Canelo getting more soft touches on his way back to the top. That's my brain speaking. Shane is one of the greatest fighters of my generation and is a SoCal native. My heart will have me cheering every time he lands a shot, and sad when the corner stops it around the 9th.
I'm not sure. I'm not a fan of Canelo but I want Mosley to stop fighting. Either way, I come out the winner.
I say Shane but if Shane happens to destroy Canelo for some freak reason, it will give Shane an excuse to chase more big fights well into his 40s. That's something I definitely do not want to see.
