Definitely Hatton but if he does win he'll probably just scoot back to 140 where the competition is much softer and rob the fans of the fights we want to see him make at welter. I just don't see him wanting to face big strong opponents like Cotto, Margo, Williams, Cintron etc. He might be able to overpower Floyd but he had a life and death struggle with light hitting Collazo so that must weigh heavy on his mind if he plans on staying at 147 which I think is a longshot personally.
Hatton he is a better ambassator for the sport PBF is just a showboat that cares about money and his mouth.
I want Hatton to knock the ****er out... but I have put a bet on Mayweather as I dont think there's much chance of a Hatton victory sadly...
Since after Zoo I've really been going off Hatton... the constant clinching has got under my skin, in particular the hanging on for dear life against Collazo and the hanging on so he didnt have to fight against Urango. When I watched the Castillo fight I thought that's better, less clinching, but upon rewatching its still there too much for my liking. That said I havent been too keen on Mayweaather's risk aversion back foot defence style either. Ultimately I went with Hatton bcause he's the good guy in this hero vs villain tale but if he wins by holding then I'll be rooting for the other guy next time...
Hatton has become the Ocsar De La Hoya of Europe. Boxing needs a big draw. A man who can sell out a stadium that can hold 70,000 people. Hatton is that man. Mayweather has some special skills, but he's an arrogant jerk who had threatened to quit boxing on more than one occasion. I am for Hatton. He is better for boxing.
