Khan deserves credit if he wins the fight, but even that is limited. If you check my post that you quoted, I never said otherwise.

    i shall be backing Marco.

this is based on many things, one of them being that Marco is one of my top three favorite fighters of all time.

the other is Khans mouth, for a guy with a totally glass jaw he runs it off like he is undisputed champ,he has no respect and i frankly want to see him ktfo brutally. Again.

we have enough young talent in this country coming through to **** the glass chinned ***** off and concentrate on them...

    Barrera all the way:bart

I want MAB to win. I severely dislike the grotesque way Khan has been inflicted on the public (I know it's not his fault before anyone says it) which is exacerbated by his cocky attitude. He courts the media and wants all the trappings of a champion without having yet proved himself.

While I'm on the subject of 'not proving it', it would have been nice to see him prove he was the best lightweight in the country by fighting his British compatriots. Instead we were just told he was the best.

Finally, MAB is a legend, a real humble guy who has given us some great nights over the years. My only fear is they may have done a Kindelan on him. Doubt it though, MAB is a warrior.

Why hasn't Khan earned it? What makes him different to Rojas or Ventura?

Another thing I must add for all those people saying 'if Khan wins you can't say MAB was shot'. That's flawed logic. If MAB comes in and clearly looks shot ie not getting his shots off, looks slow and unable to absorb punches then clearly he is shot. You can't just gloss over those things just because a few people were predicting MAB to win.

It's REALLY bad that 50% of our forum want one of our silver medalists to lose.

Or, if you wanted to put a positive spin on it, you could say it was good that people don't pick based on nationality. Alternatively you could say Khan has brought much of this on himself.

We are patriotic people so for us not to be supporting him means something is up. I think the Khan hate has been too much. I'm still unaware how he 'brought much of this on himself'. I don't see what he did that is SO bad. Sure I'd rather did other things like fight Murray, Thaxton, not be so loud but he hasn't done anything that determines we shouldn't want a product of our amateur system to fail.

Lot of people saying it's khan's mouth thats the reason they dont like him.

What makes Khan's ramblings any different to other young Boxers?

Degale,Groves,Fury have all recently talked about that theyre gonna do this and do that.

Isnt that what they are supposed to do.

How does Khan going on about how he could beat Pac any different to Jennings saying he can beat Cotto? Yet he gets praise for being confident and Khan gets called a cocky big mouth who's done nothing.

His worst crime as far as i can tell is being talented enough to win a silver medal at the age of 17 and signing for SN, making him a millionaire.

Who would have done anything different?

I disagree. I think those things epitomise exactly what is wrong with our domestic scene. Why do you think people want to see him fail then, if it's not those things? Warren's involvement obviously plays a part.
