Khan is a product of our country, our amature boxing system and his success helps Britain in a number of ways. Sure, Khan isn't fighting every single person we want but neither is anybody else. Because Khan is the silver medalist he is being held to a different standard. People are forgetting that domestically he beat the English champion, Commonwealth champion and former Brit/C'wealth/Euro champ. Even his journeyman competition had some good records, more than I can say for other 'prospects'. Warren is Khans downfall. It is because of him that Khan hasn't faced Murray or Thaxton. Khan fought on the amateur scene to a VERY high level and chose to rematch Kindelan before going pro. He is now about to face Barrera. I cant believe this man is scared of Murray or Thaxton. I can believe his promoter has misguided him.
Lets not turn this into a race thread you British ****ers, oppressors of the the Irish for hundreds of years and stealers of our beloved potato crop:smooch
i'm on the fence - i just want to see a good fight. whatever happens i'd like to see a good performance from khan as some of the GF predictions of him losing by ko in the first 10 seconds are a bit annoying.
